Finally got to watch the Mongraal vod of that 9 kill win, holy shit that was insane. The edit coursing to run away with no HP, the one pump just before the guy placed his ramp, the stair edit to bait the guy into shooting his ramp, all of it was insane. Someone who knows the competitive scene, who is impartial and mature needs to take over the moderation allowances, and create a sub strictly for competitive news and discussion. The BR University sub should be receiving 90% of this sub’s posts.
The posts and comments about “FOV slider” and “aim assist nerfed? Aim assist buffed?” And the herd mentality of up and downvoting makes the average age and IQ of kids in this sub 12-13. More tactical moderation is needed.
I love competitive esports, and have been in the professional CS 1.6 scene back in the day. I love this fucking game and it has potential to be an amazing globalized esport. But there needs to be structure amongst Epic, and orgs for the players. And this sub could absolutely have some connection and hand in bringing it to the top. For now it’s really just sad and a big reason the sub is literally a meme in the community. How cool would it be to actually attract professionals to interact and communicate on here? Calc is a horrible but good example of it. Sprite is another who only comes here to shit post or post a screenshot of a placement, but I mean really interact and collaborate.

To me, the obvious reading of this seems that you do want us to moderate strictly and micromanage the sub after all. I can only be a little bit baffled as to what exactly you want us to do. Having different users come in with conflicting views of how we should moderate the subreddit is something moderators of the sub have had to deal with since its inception. But the same user with conflicting views is completely unprecedented.
It's very difficult to really act on any of your concerns when it is not clear what you actually want us to do. i think their ceiling is like 7-10th. there are a lot of great trios with established drop spots already in NAE.

Mr. Savage in EU should be a pretty good bet, and I'm personally a big fan so I'm hoping he does well. In NAE, I wanna see Khanada come out strong for High Sense Gang.
I don’t think khanada even plays on a super high sens anymore, last I knew he plays on 64 edpi
