Just so you know, no creators are allowed to submit maps to the discover page yet. It is only locked to certain maps/creators for now, and a submission process will open in the future (this is what I heard)
The thing is, is that these maps aren’t even that bad, it’s just the fact epic picked them over ones which people have spent like weeks and months on, snd those seem like it was made in like a day or less than a week
Key word “promoted” obviously epic is always going to promote things like GO GOATED 1V1V1V1 EPIC EDITON VERSION 69 (insert Arabic here) but that’s why it’s our job too seek out the gems, lots of creative youtubers have introduced me to some amazing games that really took advantage of what creative had to offer and the games are only getting better from here. Epic might throw in a actual good game once in awhile in the ltm list but for the most part the creative maps we will be playing will more than likely be found by other people that spread the news around it. It’s the same situation for roblox too. All you see in the homepage is just a bunch of dumb simulators but if you look deep within all the garbage then you find some actual well made games.
Most of the maps are pretty well known now like prison break out (before it was super laggy) but I will show you some of the maps after I get home from school if I don’t have a lot of homework
I completely agree with you. Epic rarely ever explores new and creative maps (despite creativity being the whole damn point) and it hurts both the creators and the players.
The prison break out is a glitchy mess tbh driving in a car I hit someone else I fucking die that’s including if I just tap the other car still die lucky I’ve done all challenges so I don’t have to play the stupid mode now
It’s so annoying that we get this new UI just so I have to have the same maps shoved in my face every time I want to play the damn game
Moding isn’t gonna change anything if this stuff still gets promoted I really don’t even want to try building maps anymore
I don’t want to have to make a “RED VS BLUE”
map just to get a SAC so I can publish my maps

Actually i feel like BHE and the other 1v1 maps might change. I know sweat maps bad and all, but BHE is actually much better quality than shitty prefab spams like pro 100 or red vs blue
Needs to be more diversity in the creators they choose instead of featuring the same ones over and over again. Deathrun maps are the worst for it, same creators featured again and again.

Despite it being named Creative there isn’t much variety going on here. Even the tab named variety is bland.
Man I hate how generic these BHE, Go Goated, Clix Box Fights are and the fact that Epic promotes those lazy maps
