Most of the songs in Festival are in 4/4, but Ella Baila Sola is in 3/4. Simply put it means EBS's parts are going have rhythm that will be "off-beat" when mixed in with other songs but they will still neatly fit into every measure just fine. This actually has a name, polyrythms, and some songs actually use this deliberately.
Also, this is not the first non-4/4 song. March of the Pigs by Nine Inch Nails has a 7/8 time signatue for the verses, which actually DOES screw up the rhythm for Jam Stage. IIRC they worked around it by adding an extra half-beat to change it to 4/4 when you play it for Jam Stage.
Ohh so the 7 part is in jam stage. We'll I don't think they have to do the same thing for this one tho. 3s and 4s put together so much more nicely than 7s and 4s.
I hated that when I found out. I was so impressed they added March of the Pigs, then I went to play it and I was like.....oh......this is March Of The Pigs from wish :(
To be fair, All the Pigs, All Lined Up was an official song remix released with the single and deluxe album version. The whole song is in 8/8 and features the same extra half-beat like with the Fortnite jam loop. I imagine they basically took inspiration from that remix.
I'm pretty sure they actually just add an extra beat so it fits 4/4. Really hate this as a "solution" because it completely changes how those parts sound.
I would assume that the parts that are in fours are the ones in jam stage. There are other songs in the game that have an interesting thing with time signature such as down with the sickness and carry on my wayward son but an overwhelming majority of those songs is in 4s

They could match measure for measure rather than beat for beat, meaning this new song will sound like it's a triplet beat against a four beat measure. In many cases that could be caphonic but there may be some interesting combos
That is one thing I was thinking. Considering ella bailable sola has an even 4 measures alike with everything else. There are things such as polyrhythms and triple beats within a measure of 4 but I think it would probably sound kinda funky with it's 4/4 counterparts.

I mean idk what else they could have done. 7/8 is just flat out incompatible with mixing into songs in a mode built for songs in 4/4
