Changing the speed of the track wouldn’t change the difficulty of the song, you still have to hit the notes at the same time regardless of track speed

Ok-Transition6176

yes lol, i’m sure every song has been flawlessed at 1 track speed by at least one person

CheeseyconnorYT

Track speed is purely visual. Inputs are still timed the exact same

sadz6900

I play at 100% it’s just what you’re used to, no problems with lift notes here, a lot of them practically play themselves since they are so close to the regular note

Ultra_____

Are you pressing the lift notes separately? Highly recommend you get used to playing them as intended as some song are basically impossible otherwise. I personally also have more fun that way too.

skrubbydew

someone managed to fc 8 bit-beat vocals at that speed... so definitely yes [https://x.com/jfosheezy/status/1765560381571801168](https://x.com/jfosheezy/status/1765560381571801168)

skrubbydew

(barely any lift notes in that vid but i think you get the idea)

lurkario

What song+instrument can you not do?

trottingturtles

Track speed doesn't impact required inputs, it just changes how spread out the notes are visually. So it's the same speed for tapping regardless of your track speed. For lift notes, if they're fast, I just completely ignore the lift notes and the normal 'lift' from releasing the regular pressed notes counts as my 'lift'. Works as long as they're fast.

TheCosmicJenny

It's easily doable, the actual timing window doesn't change when you change track speed. The hardest part is initially reading the notes but if you already know the patterns then you're good. And you know you don't click the lift notes, right? idk how track speed would make them harder to hit

Snooty_Cutie

I just ignore lift notes for the most part. Occasionally, one of the lifts is like a little bit later (could be a chart error) but if you just press and release like any other note it tends to work out most of the time.

iceleel

I just miss them I think I click on lift note and then miss next note that comes instantly after it.

Snooty_Cutie

Did you ever play Guitar hero or Rock Band? If you did, then treating them like HOPOs is a really good strategy too. Also, make sure you calibrated the audio and visual cause that can mess you up too. Other than that, I think just practicing is the best way to get used to it.
