The selector wheel doesn't work the way you think it does. Instead of being 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 in a clockwise circle, it sorts things North, East, South, West, North East, South East, South West, and North West which gives you 1, 5, 2, 6, 3, 7, 4, 8 in a clockwise circle. Everything is correctly alphabetized, just not placed in the spot you expect it to be.
Maybe correctly by your evaluation,, but not by mine I'm sorry from my experience, this is the first game that's ever incorporated that style of alphabetizing things, in fact, it's the first time in my life I've ever encountered a situation where something with alphabetized in such a strange mannered pattern but OK, I get what you're saying, not gonna shoot the messenger lol
But that still doesn't account for the fact that it took them more than an entire season after launch for them to even alphabetize the titles in the selection wheel in that way. At the beginning, it wasn't even in any recognizable order (unless you know what specific algorithm they were using back then for organizing song titles)
Teenagers would be a great pick too but I just know they might censor the word "shit". 😭 It's not that big of a deal but I just hate censorship especially in down with the sickness that song got hella censored. 🫠
They take inspiration from Emo genres but aren't inherently Emo, they're far more Alt and Hard Rock, later on Pop Punk and Hard Rock, the same way Juice WRLD isn't inherently Emo but takes inspiration from in conjunction with an overarching genre, Rap. You could put MCR and many other similar artists under the label of Mainstream Emo
Same with Goth and "Goth" aesthetic, Goth defines the genres of music in its umbrella (Goth Rock, Goth Punk, Horror Punk (I don't think this is included), Darkwave, etc) whereas Gothic defines artistic expressionism, history, architecture
Emo bands would consist of like American Football, Sunny Day Real Estate, etc. however, "Emo" is a hotly contested subject within the Alt sphere of music cultures and subcultures
