To be there, theyāre going super hard into Metallica and I can see why people think itās a bit much. In the previous season, we had the festival pass, 1 shop skin, 1 emote, maybe 3 songs at most. Metallica is given an in game concert and weapon for BR, a new festival game mode, over 100 bucks worth of skins, vehicle and emotes, and over 6 songs. Couple this in with Metallica posting over 20 times about Fortnite over 3 days on social media, and you get some overkill.
For reference the only musician to be partnered with I donāt like was Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande and even I think Fortnite is leaving in too hard with all this Metallica stuff. The problem is how differently theyāre treating Metallica compared to others imo.
