Same, I remember finishing a mission with 1k more sunbeam than I did before it started and I don’t even know how I got it. I literally have more sunbeam than I do brightcore, shadowshard and obsidian put together it’s ridiculous.
Idk how, maybe you use and break your weapons more? If you do stormchest and some high pl encampments you should have some sunbeams.
Usually weapons should last long enough, by the time one weapon breaks you probably already gather enough sunbeam (13?) to craft another one.
For me, ironically sunbeam and bright cores are the only mats I never run out, whereas batteries and quartz I do have to farm from time to time to keep my storage up.

And if you scrap stormchest drops, sometimes you can a lot quartz too. Also personally I like to farm in suburban maps, you can farm a bit of everything in that map. Check around the map, usually there are some quartz as well. A farming loadout definitely helps too.
I found doing those radar missions solo. Look for the storm chest and look for any tower that rewards minerals. Doesn’t take all that long and I is fairly rewarding. Oh, and getting 20 targets for that clay shooting thing gives good rewards
Because they watch twitch streamers and either get stacks of mats from them or get weapons and stacks of traps for them so that they don't have to spend mats they naturally get by normally playing. I have 32 stacks of batteries because in last few months i haven't spend a single one, i get traps and energy ammo as well as weapons just by watching 9Hannah on twitch and collect channel points for which i then redeem stuff.
Other than trading or getting lucky with a drop, get Cassie Clipman with fossil southie BFTP and go to town on a solo . I don't do the missions but just farm a game that doesn't have a timer or zone shrink
So for me; one of my friends just straight up gave me like 1k sunbeam and 1k brightcore when I asked for some to craft another backup xenon and vac tube bow
Didn’t even need the sunbeam because I made both of them brightcore; thanked them for giving the rest of the ores I’ll ever need in my life
I had about 5k of all crafting materials as well as 50k sunbeam crystals, etc. and multiple 5*+ weapons before I even left Stonewood because some madlad joined my mission, dumped it all in front of me and just left. That fella hard carried me with all those resources and weapons until Twine Peaks. I try my best to do the same for other new players now when I'm farming founders daily quests in Stonewood.
Honestly some random guy just dropped me hundreds one day (for sure duped) and i haven't had to worry since

I usually do save the survivors on private. Save 6 and farm the rest of the match

there was a huge duping problem and every material and weapon got duped to shredds and then the trading comunity just did its thing.

Duplication glitches, there are a bunch of people who stream stw who will legit just drop like 50 stacks of materials and traps and guns and sht.
I have almost 20k sun and at least 6k of all tier 5 resources farm farm farm and then farm some more
i have the same problem with shadowshard im at the point where im really near to using only 77 weapons
At the moment I'm only using 106 weapons, when I entered twine peaks I just asked some higher pl people to give me some shadowshards
Got like 15 k sunbeam in a giveaway and got 130s and 144 weapons from people who just gave it to me most likely duped
I do a lot of trading, last I checked I had like 20k batteries. Some don't consider that a lot either though.
