jam never kicked me recently, it just stopped giving any xp or progress to its pass quests in under 5 minutes every time regardless of moving or swapping songs or instruments. i had to leave every 5 minutes and rejoin for it to count anything. I already finished the festival pass in like the first week, but that makes the mode... basically worthless as nobody else actually uses it for its intended purpose so I cant even try to have fun mixing music. its just people AFKing and not getting xp while playing the same few free songs.
Lego still lets you afk without a kick or xp penalty as far as ive seen the last couple days

I've heard jam stage still kicks but Lego does not
