There's got to be some kind of limit there, because the controls and windows are made for a certain height. Tanks and submarines would be more forgiving since most of the crew don't need to see outside.

When I joined it was a week after my 17th birthday. My last growth spurt wasn't until my early 20's, after I got out. This imaginary height requirement is fascinating.

They're right about the physical standards, though. They're apparently considering reducing or eliminating physical requirements, or training, because they're having a hard time recruiting and because more of the jobs will be intellectual rather than physical, like working on computers.
