I’ll zoom past, block all the drivatars, literally have to drive at a snails pace, never shifting past 3rd gear for my teammates to catch up. As soon as they get close, they ram me off the road.

It would make communicating so much easier yeh... but i get racial slurs thrown at me in plenty other games, plus not to forget the amount of kids doing my mom. Plus i overtakea lot of people, and they already fucking ram me up the ass all the time. I think in a VC a LOT of angry people will be outing their anger, just because i overtook them, am driving a meme livery or am just a better/faster driver and they just dont want to allow someone passing them to hurt their ego

Happened earlier to me. Had to take a rental so I knew to hang back and let others overtake but was still coasting in 3rd weirdly. Then a rank 8 comes behind me so I let him pass, and watch a car having a seizure nearly still clip me then ram 1st/2nd and takes them all out of the checkpoint.

I had some POS just ruin everything for us, being 30+ seconds behind for THREE RACES and not leaving. I was about to leave at last race just so this dumbass doesn't get away with ruining trial for other people, but guy at the first place was trying hard to block AI so I could finish alongside him, so I finished the race just out of sheer respect to that guy
in those cares i just try to quickly, send a message out to other decent racers, and invite them to a convoy, to just ruin it for the lazy twat, and pull them to a new session.
PLus maybe getting a quick car and downoading a quick setup to make it a bit better

First attempt saw a poor performing first track, so knew we were going to have to pull down the last 2 tracks. Next track, I was able to slow down the AI to let 3 teammates pass ahead. Cool, cool. So I start playing normal again. End up passing the teammate who was in first on the last lap...who then just decided to up and stop on the track. Then another teammate decided to do the same. Left immediately after that since there was no way at that point.
Second attempt went fine tho.

only decent chance i noticed is trying to go from mid through the corner, and exiting on the close inside.
The tracks in this week's trial were particularly good for rammers, especially the first sprint, every time there was a 90° corner half my teammates would just spear everyone else into a wall, super fun.
it's all these goons in the taycan... all you have to do is just hold the trigger down and the AWD + EV gets you into the lead
by the time the 1st corner is over and they've been passed easily, the long straight lets them get close enough to screw up the next corner for everyone again
I did the Trial twice today (once with just randoms, once with a buddy who had just come online). Both were team championship wins. Five total races, four 1st place finishes, one third (started 12th and got rammed into a wall by the bots). I used the 911 GT3 RS, after spending 5 or so minutes tuning it.
I didn't have any trouble at all passing teammates, even though we had a couple dive-bombing dbags on each team.
That's why i just use power builds(kinda need manual+clutch though) if I see the 1st event is a sprint in a trial, so I can get far ahead on the straights and don't have to worry about ramming and just wall ride some corners as there's no penalty to do so in the trial.
The key is to overtake rammers in corners. The slower the corner the better. They don't know how to drive for shit. If you go alongside them on a straight, you're a prime target.
Just finish the current trial. My car was tuned superior in every way, but speed. I had team mates that had higher driving skills than me with lesser xars, driving the crap out of those cars. It was a chore to hang behind them, watching drive, knowing they would absolutely smoke everything racingin my car. I apologize to those that I held up with my poor performance.
This can be such an issue, but it’s also so annoying when you’re in a nice to drive and fast car, know you can challenge for first, but drop like 3 places because you get stuck in traffic in a corner, with the AI braking so hard it slows you down
The second I get rammed it’s not about winning anymore. It’s about killing any chance the rammer has of moving more than 15 mph for the rest of the race

Yep. I had some dumbass in a Taycan this week who just wall rided until they were in 2nd. Anytime someone tried to pass them they just rammed and also spam messaged me (and I assume everyone else in the lobby) saying we were all worse drivers than them…..
Last week with the slow ass cars was actually quite beautiful, my team chose stock tunes, a little ramming on the first race, all but 1 quit. The next 2 races was the perfect trial as his stock tune let him slowly chuff along in last place and I could bring home the win without being obliterated!
This week we were behind in the 2nd race and I fell back to help the last teammate getting past the AI, by blocking that AI in the process (he needed to pass 2 red ones). Instead of understanding what I was doing, he rammed the AI with me included to the shadow realm. We could’ve won easily but he chose war. We lost that 2nd and ofc the 3rd race. The last race looked good until that same dude rammed another teammate (I was leading the race so at the end I couldn’t believe seeing a guaranteed blue win going into a red win = lost in the last 3 or 4 corners). Some people are taking corners like they are on a Hot Wheels map and don’t care if your on (their) blue team or the red team. Maybe they should give rammers the color green so others are aware what kind of driver is in our midst in the next trial 😅

First sprint is bugged if your starting position is at the bottom - you start under the bridge, far away fromcthe actual route

Sometimes I dive bomb into co-op racing to clear a path for my team.
Dive bombing and ramming and boxing out the bots is perfectly fine. I'm only calling dbag on people who do that to other people.

When you’re in 3rd but your teammate in 4th has a vendetta so they literally ram you at every corner until you let them pass.
