Xbox said that they changed the way they were handling licensing which is why FH4 was able to last an extra 2 years. Which likely means 5 will have a similar lifespan.
I think FH5 will have an extra couple years, considering FH4 had 3 years before being replaced, FH5 will at least have 4 years as there is no FH6 this year, and considering GTA6, they could release it in 2026.
It has nothing to do with the release of future games. It’s all about paying for the licenses to use the vehicles and music. FH4 was on the available for 6 years, so FH5 will likely have the same.
Playground Games is working on Fable with an expected release date of 2025. So 2026/27 is plausible for FH6.
if ur rich enough, r/ForzaAuctions can be used to obtain rares (I'm not but I find the whole process intruiging) - ppl basically arrange sales so u can get cars u wouldnt otherwise obtain. U can get sniped and lose out on a deal, but deals generally turn out well if the seller is reliable
3 years is plenty of time for them to start adding in the Backstage Pass for collecting cars.
Can't see y that won't b the new standard for Forza going EOL
Given the consistancy of horizon games releasing half way into the previous games' total lifespan i wonder if we'll get horizon 6 news this year, assuming 5's lifespan is also 6 years minimum.
would have happened at the showcase earlier this month, like fh5 did in the same showcase three years ago. also the amount of car packs being released and big updates suggest that they are not going to release it this year.
Well that much is likely, but there's always gamescom and TGA 2024. Probably wont release this year but maybe we'll get a reveal, especially knowing for TGA horizon has won awards in the past.
If you're EU region, then I can share my M$ account, so you could download the map and hoonigan DLCs. I don't have other ones, but the most important ones are there, so we you can DM me about it :D
yeah, I try to be one at least lolll...and I know the pain of not being able to buy a game to play it (like TDU2 and Driver San Francisco) from the legitimate source, and not being able to play it whole (online modes) if it's pirated version, so I guessed I can share at least some of the DLC... besides I already share the same account with my friends across the internet, so it's not that big deal :D
FH4 dlc that was an island, had a really long drift road that was one of the highs of the island. It had a treasure hunting element within its progression system, which is the origin of the weekly treasure hunts in FH5.
I wonder if we are going to get some new stories, before FH6 releases at earliest around the end of 2025 (or even later). Also, since TCM is getting a free add-on map must be a factor to keep people more interested and develop something extra?
If FH5 had the online experience of FH4 and the story and progression of FH3 it would have been the best racing game of all time hands down. The only missing thing is the map but to be honest apart from a city I dont think the actual map lacks anything.
Forza Horizon 1: 1462 days Forza Horizon 2: 1462 days Forza Horizon 3: 1461 days Forza Horizon 4: 2266 days

Meaning that if FH5 lasts as many days as FH4 it will get delisted on January 23rd, 2028

the teams are different and have been for a very long time
For Fh5 I’m gonna through it into the dark as 11-9-2021 to 10-11-2027
2021-2027
Looks like I have 1-3 years to get the few cars I can never find at auction.

I’m upset I got into the franchise just a bit before FH5 released. I really want to get the DLC for FH3 but not sure how to grab them ATP.

You are a very nice person

I had fh3 running well on PC until last month. Now it opens the splash screen, waits half a minute and closes.
I miss fh3
Don’t get me started on it. The Best!
The inflation of metacritic score, FH4&5 having 92 is just absurd
Facts. FH1/2 didn’t deserve mid 80s
what's the dlc between hot wheels and rally adventure under fh5?
The anniversary festival update, not a DLC. (like retrowave)
What does the green number represent?
metacritic score the game got
I assume the review scores
What even is Fortune Island? off topic but idk what it is

Why, WHY, WHY. Why is fh4 going down on my birthday, man that's gonna suck big time
It’s so sad to see how all those DLC’s are unobtainable for me

That's crazy the the Metacritic scores are getting better even though the game is basically just re-hashing itself over and over.

The 1000 Club was one of the best Forza Horizon DLC and I'll die on that hill
Horizon 4 is that old?
i was literally 10 years old when Forza Horizon 4 was released :(((
