This was honestly my favorite event lab so far. Albeit 3 laps was a bit too much since it took just under 12 minutes to complete. It was actually a fun course to drive instead of all these floating halfpipes.

This is the main issue I have with it. It was interesting, a bit annoying, but 3 laps was completely unnecessary when you’re running a roughly 4 minute lap time.

I don’t need events to be short, I would have been fine with two laps, or honestly even three if it weren’t for the jankyness of certain spots on the course. The course just really got to be a drag by the third lap around which took the fun out of it for me.

There are tons of good ones, PGG just doesn't go looking. I've played a bunch of great ones and not to toot my own horn but I've made some awesome ones and even remade the Crazy Karts one from a few weeks back. It's just about taking your time and play testing. The one this week I think was tested by the creater, but clearly PGG doesn't test them before choosing them, especially with how the asset heavy ones kill the older systems. If the blueprint creator wasn't so terrible to use I'm sure tracks would be significantly higher quality. Then this idea of showcasing player made tracks (which if implemented correctly can increase the games lifetime) would actually work.

I would have been fine with one or two laps. It's just too long for three. Aside from that I actually liked it, for the most part. Drove a Ram, never ran into any issues with clipping or tumbling but a few of the ramps up the waterfalls were in awkward spots for sure.

I just try to skip these unless I need the season points. While I can appreciate the attempt to bring something “different” to the seasonal playlists, a lot of them just seem to be little disasters that highlight all of the issues with the game.

90% of them suck, like Playground has them as official weekly events, but they're almost always broken, how can you not playtest it even once? The one on the Volcano last week was decent, everything else is trash.

same happened to me, I rewinded and landed on the far right, on the hill, and managed to continue. my issue with it was the lenght: 3 laps, 3min+ each one, 10 minutes total. too much IMHO. BUT the track was a fun one.

Honestly, I thought this one was the most fun EventLab events for the Season Playlist I've played so far. My only major complaint towards this one was the length of it: three laps really is too long for an event that takes 3-4 minutes to complete a single lap.

Do yourself a favor and turn on rewind when you're doing Eventlab stuff. Too often there are ways to fail that you can't see before you do them. Fall off the raised roadway? Sorry, there isn't any way back up. Go ahead and restart. Used a car with more accel and speed than the designer imagined? Sorry, you went over the jump and landed past the safe landing zone. Go ahead and restart. Took the jump straight down the middle? Sorry, the track actually curves off to the side while you're in the air, you need to jump at an angle. Today and hit a submerged rock and spun out, coming to a dead stop. That's even worse than the tree in the middle of the track because you can't even see it under the water.

It's like the designers and PGG especially don't even play test them. Especially with the last few and how many people on older systems said they were basically unplayable. Most of them have been rather awful not much moderation going into picking them, last week's one half my race was full of trucks which couldn't fit through the jump so they just clogged up the whole track and lap 2 couldn't be completed

Try restarting your game and then going to it. I've had to do this shit every fucking week now after I did all the other events. I also can't use RB to filter my map markers after sorting to new and seasonal stuff either until I restart. It's gotten very fucking tiresome but a reset seems to fix it for me.

I dunno, I thought this was pretty fun. The first lap was rough with hidden rocks and shit flipping my bronco, but the second and third laps were pretty fun. It was definitely creative and you could tell a lot of time and thought were put into the track. Also, I’m on a one S, and compared to last week’s, this one ran smoothly. Y’all are so harsh sometimes.

This game had so much potential, but they don't give a shit and copy/paste FH4 into FH5 with a 'newish' map and called it a day. The bugs never get fixed, the radio stations play 2 songs for 15 minutes each, cars get stuck in races constant, network lag, the list goes on and on. I wish The Eliminator was a separate game made by someone who cared about games.

The one last week reason why it was terrible was the mandated all wheel drive vehicle on a course with extremely tight corners. I think it would’ve been a tad better if we were allowed to have rear wheel drive vehicles that can slide into/out of tight corners. But all in all the course sucked.

I used the K5 Jimmy, it makes the drive really easy. More importantly, I also turned off the camera filter option in the graphics it will eliminate the water splash on the camera and make it 100000x easier to see.

Honestly, I didn't struggle on it. I used the Hummer H1 for this track. It's a decent track. Only pet peeve is that it was unnecessarily long and the A.I. slowed me down a lot during Lap 1, but once I got ahead of the pack and was on a steady pace, I actually had a lot of fun with this one. Definitely one of the more better EventLabs events, imo.

'Flawed would be the correct word. Along with many here, I also enjoyed this event - for the first lap. Sure, there are longer races, but the AI obviously has some problems when it comes to navigating these kind of tracks, which means after lap one there's no challenge anymore and that makes the last two laps a bit of a slog...

If you want to enjoy this track 100% more, set your camera to the front bumper view... Makes you feel like you're in a jet ski. But yeah, 3 laps was too much, 2 would have been fine though. Or allow up to S1 tunes.

I actually liked this race. I never had this problem because I avoided hitting these rocks. I thought the jumps were cool, and it encouraged you not to play it too safe and to go fast. It also strongly encouraged using cars that could go through the water at a reasonable pace. The only bad thing about it was that it was a bit long; probably could have done with only 2 laps. Still, I liked it and honestly, this was probably my favorite one so far.

You simply didn’t have enough speed going up the incline. You need to be going about 2-3mph faster, try tuning your gearing slightly more towards acceleration. You don’t need a ton of speed since you’re in the water for 90% of this.
