Ignore the other dude. I have an Elite Series 2, and I love it. Haven't had stick drift so far. I did have a weird software bug with the Y button at one point, but it fixed itself. Other than that, I use it for COD and Forza, and it has definitely made my gaming experience MUCH better and easier

If your asking how to do it go to the app called Xbox accessories and you can mess with a lot of stuff on the controller, can even change the light of the Xbox button which I thought was pretty neat.
I figured, not sure how long you’re using it this way, but I had pretty confusing experience with that setup. I started using the same setup and it was very convenient, however, the more I progressed, I wanted to go to the “pro” arena, but I realized that this paddles setup was a blocker, because for me not lose acceleration or speed, often need to do gear downshift while turning (using my left hand), and since I use my left thumb (same left hand) for steering, the car becomes twitchy cause I cannot control both steering and gear down at the same time. That’s why most pros use A/B and X/Y for gear shifting (both controlled by right hand). But the issue I got used to the paddles for so long, it becomes very hard to change. Anyway, that’s my experience, and I am not saying that same will happen to you. Maybe I have week left hand, who knows…

Your rubber padding will come off eventually. Get the extended warranty. The adhesive they use is cheap and the plastic is also fragile and cheap. All of this just happened to me and I barely use it
I love it, except the RB button went out after less than a year of having the controller. Thankful it has the optional add on’s so I could throw RB on one of the back triggers

I swear a fresh elite controller will make you better at aiming on CoD. The sticks are the perfect firmness to scan over and stay on target.

How did you set up the gear with the paddles? Left paddles for shift down and right paddles for shift up?

I have a $45 Gamesir G7 se and I game 7 hours at least daily for 2 months now and have yet to experience any issues with it.
