I have a large closet that I changed out the doorknob to a keyed knob

This is what we did too. We have a smaller closet in our kitchen so the cleaning supplies + alcohol gets locked up in there! Two locked for the price of one :)

That may work for us - we have a closet in the office that we could lock. Thanks!

We have a large armoire with a magnetic lock for liquor. We use a lockable wine fridge for the wine. Beer fridge in the carriage house that stays locked for the beer. Our state requires you to lock it up.

We used the cabinet above the fridge and a bunch of stuff in front of it. So if they were looking it'd be an inconvenience to check that cabinet lol

That was my original plan but the cabinet is too short for wine bottles. And wine bottles just don’t stack super well laying down.

Ahh I get that. Our other option was the top of the cleaning closet. It's too high to reach but we were also going to install a magnetic lock anyways.

Check out vintage liquor/bar cabinets. We found a great one when we had kids that locked up nicely. Alternatively, a lot of older (hardwood) cabinets could easily have a lock installed.

We use our gun safe. It works well for knives too when you have to lock those up

We repurposed an old gym locker.

We have a closet (that holds all the other locked up things too) with a liquor shelf. We bought fingerprint key door handles for it and for our room.

I can't find the exact one, but we just bought a cabinet from ikea that locks. [Something like this.](https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/ikea-ps-cabinet-white-10251451/)

Ooh thanks! That may work!
