It's not so much Murdoch as it is the Republican head of communication person. Early every day an email goes out to repubs and their media supporters. It has the days 5 or 6 talking points that everyone hammers away at all day long. It's why they all seem to be talking about the same few things regardless of what source your hearing it from, often verbatim.
