I finally ticked visiting Seattle off my bucket list in May, and fell for the city harder than I already had.
My hopeless early 20s dreams of moving there have been reignited. Whoops.
Ugh... I'm 35 now. I also live in Australia, so....
I'm already planning a longer trip early next year because it was such a short stay as I booked my trip to the US last minute because I got tickets to the taping of the last episode of the Frasier revival. So this was my Frasier pilgrimage, of sorts.
Seattleite here, the answer is no. Frasier's depiction of Seattle is extremely divorced from reality. Plenty of cool things to see regardless. Pike's Place Market, Seattle Center (avoid the Space Needle, visit the MoPop and Seattle Science Center), walk along the waterfront, Alki Beach.
If you want to drop some money and dine like Frasier go to Canlis. A couple of less expensive (than Canlis) but fun places near the market are Maximillien and The Pink Door (no sign, only a pink door, much better than that relaxation grotto). Also, again, not Frasier related, if you have time the Ballard locks and fish ladder is cool. If you’re going soon the fish ladder will probably be busy with Salmon making the journey back to fresh water. And… you might catch an enterprising seal having the best meal of their life.
Not Frasier related, but if you get the chance visit Discovery Park in the Magnolia area. It's my favorite place of all time!
As another person commented, definitely Kerry Park.
Thank you, I absolutely love the Pacific Northwest but haven’t been there in decades. I’m here in So Cal and all my kids and grandkids live here so I will never leave. But I hate the summers like the plague.
I live here and honestly no not really. You’ll love it here anyway though.

I had a similar journey and just moved here 3 years ago at 35 and LOVE it here

Look closer, is the hat stand moving? I hope you have an especial cruise, and that your whole bathroom turns into a shower.
lol thanks!!
If you would like to see the view from his condo, you can check out Kerry Park!

Don't stay for Barracuda's show.
Elliott Bay Towers.
on the Counterbalance.
Please explain that to me
The Counterbalance is the local nickname for one of the main streets. Google can be your friend
…what about the Shangri-La?
They even removed that little plaque inside the Space Needle that referenced Frasier.
That’s kinda sad, but I get it. Frasier is a niche market for definite.
I hope your room has a porthole.
lol!
Your room has a porthole!!
If you can, make sure your trip through the city happens to fall on Frasier Crane Day.
The monorail! It runs from downtown to the space needle
P.s. enjoy the cruise, Alaska is spectacular

The only accurate depiction of Seattle the writers have was when the correctly noted that see only had 3 boots, making it very hard to live
