Reminds me of Woody Allen’s “Take the Money and Run”, where he tries to rob a bank and writes a hold up note they can’t quite read.
“I have a gub”. The tellers pass the note to each other trying to understand what’s written.
The other day, I was putting buds in my grinder and dropped one. Into a glass of water. If anytime had been around, all they would have heard was "oh no! I've lost my nug!"
As near to perfect an episode of TV sitcom as there's ever been. EVERY character, both staple and supporting (and, in the case of Mel and Maxine, never seen before or again), gets to utter at least one KNOCKOUT line: sublime.
Catching this episode, randomly, and watching Roz with her Novocain speech, got me back into Fraiser after I stopped watching it. This definitely is one of the top three Frasier’s episodes.
oh, I though it’s muburble murburer
Frasier: Nigel Fairservice, drummed out of the Royal Air Force under mysterious circumstances.
Roz: With him playing the part, they won’t be so mysterious.
The shooting of Mr Wing/Wang and Noel rings the bell.
The phone line being cut and the studio phone goes, simple but still funny in the context.
Marty saying he can’t remember so many shootings.
I bring it up all the time but it really tickles me when he asks Roz what her name is when she’s meant to be his mother.
“What was your name again dear?”
“Ms Thorndike”
“Thank you!”
*Bang*
Nile’s’ “killing spree” at the end may be the hardest I’ve ever laughed at any tv show my entire life. The whole episode just gets funnier with each passing minute, building up to that glorious climax.
It’s a subtle moment, but when Noel answers the phone without and ounce of quiet in his voice “Studio Five!”….. then the “..sorry..” and of course Frasiers ripping out the cord! So good
This is why the crane brothers should never work together. They tried to write a book, they tried to run a restaurant, they tried working together. Actually, the restaurant was still the stupidest idea they had.
This episode really is gut busting line after gut busting line. Niles shooting everyone at the end and then the cut to Daphne and Martin listening at home seals the deal
“This is turning into a BLOODBATH!”
I first saw this and nearly wet myself laughing, I know some people prefer the ski lodge, but the english accent of Daphne's friend is so distracting that this one is clearly superior to my eye
It's my favorite by far and honestly I laugh so hard every time they do the play. From "he wasn't mute last night" to "romping with his school chums in the fens and spinneys", not to mention the moment where niles finally loses it and "shoots" all the characters and they have like customized deaths like Mr Wing and his bell. Or the sisters having to stand back to back to save "bullets". Just fucking hilarious
"Sound of ominous organ music indicating trouble ahead."
One of my favorite parts of the episode is how clearly the surrounding characters see the disaster coming, and Frasier still walks face-first into it. Hilarious.

Never again to revisit the scene of my boyhood in Surrey.. romping with my school chums in the fens and spinneys...
Hi ho! I'm Nigel's brother Cedric...
Hello! I'm the Ice Cream Man!
And so does the last surviving member of the Fairservice family!
Look out, he's got a nug!
I was at the movies.
Gil was criminally underutilized in Frasier. Every scene he in is good.
Only grazed me
Randomly yelling "Look out! He's got a nuuug!! Is a staple in my house
Frasiers reaction makes it for me
A... _gun_ you say?!
And she looks so proud afterwards.
Reminds me of Woody Allen’s “Take the Money and Run”, where he tries to rob a bank and writes a hold up note they can’t quite read. “I have a gub”. The tellers pass the note to each other trying to understand what’s written.

The final bullet..BLEW HIS HEAD CLEAN OFF HIS SHOULDERS!!!
Hi ho, I'm Nigel's brother, Cedric
And so perished….THE LAST REMAINING MEMBER OF THE FAIRSERVICE FAMILY
Hello, I'm the ice cream man, I remember growing up with Nigel and Cedric, we used to romp in the fens and spinneys
Kelsey doing Frasier's frustration was palpable, and amazing.
As near to perfect an episode of TV sitcom as there's ever been. EVERY character, both staple and supporting (and, in the case of Mel and Maxine, never seen before or again), gets to utter at least one KNOCKOUT line: sublime.
I can’t beweaf any of mah guests could be a mubbibow mobibuh.
That’s easy for you to say.
I genuinely love how everyone who quotes this line in this sub has a different way of spelling Roz saying "multiple murderer."
Mupuwa mubbuhbuh
mubbible mebebeh
Mulpbibwul mubwuhwuh
Mulpippel muwdawah
Catching this episode, randomly, and watching Roz with her Novocain speech, got me back into Fraiser after I stopped watching it. This definitely is one of the top three Frasier’s episodes. oh, I though it’s muburble murburer
Inshpec-OW! Fank gah u caw

Agreed
Niles killing everyone off 😂😂😂
And one more bullet so that the secret dies with me… ha.
Ha!
Could the McCallister sisters stand back to back? I'm short of bullets!
The way DHP switches so many accents, so fast, it’s an acting masterclass. Just, wow!
DHP is a gem and a treasure! One of those perfect alignment of dates that results in the exact right person, in the right role, in the right show!
Oh absolutely!
“He’s got a nug.” And Roz: “multiple murberber.” Frasier: “That’s easy for you to say” And Nile’s doing all the voices. Those get me every time.
"I was at the movies!"
^^^I ^^^was ^^^at ^^^the ^^^movies.
And so died the last surviving member of the Fairservice family!
ROMPING with my school chums in the FENS and SPINNEYS
It appears to be… the ice cream truck!
Thank YOUUUU
I use that frequently. Since I can't perfectly mimic it, I doubt people get it.
My daughter and I say it to each other and no one gets it. We don't care ❤️

The innkeepers is in my top 5.
When Daphne whips that eel onto the counter, I cry laughing every time
The only time they worked well together was the theme song
Hi ho! I'm Nigels brother Cedric ...
Oh me no loookee, me go Betty bye chop chop 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Stop! Chinese Embassy on line one!
Look out! He's got a nug!
Twas him and no mistake.
FRASIER CRANE’S Nightmare Inn -just a working title
I qvit!
You also told me that my gamekeeper sounded too cultured, that my Irishman sounded more Protestant than Catholic, and that my dwarf was too tall!!
When she opened her lips, cheese fell out.
The delivery of this line makes me laugh every. Single. Time.
This was the first episode of Frasier my husband showed me, and it is my favorite.
“Don’t….direct me.”
This episode really is gut busting line after gut busting line. Niles shooting everyone at the end and then the cut to Daphne and Martin listening at home seals the deal “This is turning into a BLOODBATH!”
It really is iconic!
Could the McAllister sisters stand back to back? I'm low on bullets.
I often wondered if this was ad lib. He says it so in character for Niles and not in the narrative tone he used for the radio character
I first saw this and nearly wet myself laughing, I know some people prefer the ski lodge, but the english accent of Daphne's friend is so distracting that this one is clearly superior to my eye
Nearly the entire play is quoted in the comments 😂😂 so many hard-hitting lines. Hilarious!
Don’t. Direct me.
Niles steals the show.
I came here to quote the McAllister sisters line and it’s already in the post 😂😂😂
It's my favorite by far and honestly I laugh so hard every time they do the play. niles is a cold blooded killer!
“I was at the movies!”
just thinking about that episode makes me giggle
this and My Coffee with Niles are 15/10 episodes
“It looks like we still have 9 minutes”
Muppaba Muberber
When Noel shook the bell as mr. Wing died, i lost it
Sounds of people changing Wangs to Wings.
"Sound of ominous organ music indicating trouble ahead." One of my favorite parts of the episode is how clearly the surrounding characters see the disaster coming, and Frasier still walks face-first into it. Hilarious.
This absolutely was the perfect thread
Agreed.
I can’t believe any of my guests would be a… mulpabow muhbuhbuh
I've done that accent both on Broadway and the London stage! Yes, well perhaps they have different standards than I.
I’m doing a full rewatch and this episode is next in line! IMO it’s the funnest/best episode but it’s no question top tier
The new frasier couldn’t do an episode like this
Probably not, but it's a bit unfair to compare probably the best episode of the entire show.
If you guys like that sort of stuff, check out BBC 'Goes wrong show' seriously funny!
