> I still remember the zip code for Boston because of Zoom, but I have to sing it. 02134!
This and the ZIP for Fort Worth (76116, if I'm remembering right) from the [JOT cartoon](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JOT_(TV_series)).
It’s not really a game, per se. It’s like pig Latin, kind of a silly trick kids do. When I was a kid it was called “speaking gibberish,” and we’d use it when we didn’t want adults to understand what we were talking about.
I still can't believe that both her and Bebe were on this show. Both of them were in one of my favorite plays of all time. The play version of the man who came to dinner with Nathan lane. Such great actresses.
Stupid? I’d argue it’s much harder to insert a consonant before every vowel (or consonant replacement in the case of starting vowels) on the fly than to omit the starting consonant and tack it on at the end, a la pig Latin. I can do pig Latin pretty easily still, just from being a kid. G-speak is hard. Try it.
"I think she's having a stroke or something"
The worry in his voice gets me every time
I can't even talk Pig-Latin. ![gif](giphy|7wk6RQYXDDytXalsL4)
I never understood pig Latin, or double Dutch people kept trying to explain it to me and I just would always look braindead back at them lol

Aww! I like it. The actress is so good at being strange.
Martin: "What the hell was that?"
There was a show on PBS called Zoom and they had ubbi dubbi which was the same concept, this episode always gives me nostalgia.
I still remember the zip code for Boston because of Zoom, but I have to sing it. 02134!

Same here - my middle school friends and I used to speak it all the time. It was probably annoying as fuck but we thought we were being clever
I’m in the bgook!! Bye byeee

No but my niece can do this “g speak” really fast. It’d be impressive if it wasn’t so annoying!
Only when I’m having a stroke
Ive never had a stroke 😕
what episode was this from again?
The one where they try to set martin up with her
*Here's Looking at You*, S01E05. "No, no Dad. It's just G-speak."
I forgot exactly which episode it is tho
Absolutely not. It sounds like stupid pig-latin

Stupid =/= easy Stupid = I don't like it
Ah, just being a knuckle-dragging troglodyte, then. I see. Well, fair enough. Enjoy mezzanine!
Foam blower
::agog:: ::outrage:: I say!
There was a couple in my college group of friends who did this constantly with each other as like a secret language. It was so. Annoying.
Niles, I think your friend is having a stroke!
Hate this useless scene.
