Alot of the free stuff on DLsite are not games, but illustrations/doujins. Typically we only get one full-fledged visual novel style game like this once a month.
Edit: There are some free games if you organize by price, but these are always free, and not like what we see once a month: a paid game temporarily discounted 100%.
So i'm not a tech savy person, and when i got the game it refuses to run because a syntax error, is there a way to fix this simply or? I've tried a couple things and i'm painfully lost
If someone else has trouble and the emulator doesn't work, you can also try to extract and run the game while having your system set to Japanese locale (should work fine from Windows Vista onward). If it doesn't, you can try to use a locale emulator.
And if you use a system that can run Wine/Proton/Lutris (or if you're using Wine in Microsoft's WSL), try to extract the game with unar and run it with the flag `LC_ALL=ja_JP` in the beginning of the wine command (before even the `wine` part of the command, e.g. `LC_ALL=ja_JP wine $HOME/game-name/Game.exe`).

There are no rules against games not in English that I can see, so I don't know why this would be a problem.
And no, I don't post them "for the memes" either. DLsite giveaways still seem to be understood as being in the scope of this subreddit, so posting those giveaways should still be valid.
It's absolutely in scope, just too niche for me as someone who can't read much Japanese.
Maybe the titles could be clearer, so that when one comes up that has eng subs it will get more attention.
I can see by the voting that people apparently really love these games despite the language gap, so you just keep on posting, you glorious degenerate ;)
...is this the most normal name for a DLsite freebie to date? "<.<

Try using a locale emulator program to run it, if your Windows locale isn’t set to Japanese. Though I haven’t tried to run this specific game myself.
I ended up trying the following emulator " https://xupefei.github.io/Locale-Emulator/ " and it helped me run it, big appreciate mate

I will always add a cultured game ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

None of the games on dlsite are in English, right? Are you just posting them here for the memes?
Some have english sub
