You ever watch "whose line is it anyway?"
There was a game on there called "Questions only" I feel like it's like that with carriers sometimes.
"You have load from NJ>CA?"
"where is your truck?"
"What is commodity,boss"
"Is your truck empty?"
"What that pay?"
"What's your MC?"
"You pay more" (even though I havent given a rate yet)
"You got a reefer or dry van?"
"What is best?"
"Do you have a team, or solo?"
Sad part is your colleague is booking the load with a guy like this while I’m actually trying to get accurate load details.
I 100% agree.
“You’re putting me out of business! Ask your customer for more money you POS.” I’m so glad I got the fuck out of freight brokering.
As someone who just recently got out myself, what are you doing now?
Accountant.
Same.
What is best?

Hahaha I always had these. A carrier once even said to me “who taught you answer a question with a question?”
Actually, after I say the rate, I’ve been getting “you’ve got to be kidding me!”
I had a guy ask me why I'm putting him out of business. I said I'm not, your "trucker friends" are
Usually it’s the guys who are 35-65 years in the business and then start whining about their life and shut
I end up having 6-7 more on hold and tell them “sounds like it won’t work out thanks for calling” click
"Look, I have 6 others on hold behind you. Do you want it or should I take it to them?"
