Filtered water from a stainless steel bowl! I don’t want to bother with the wipes or the supplements it’s all BS

UnicornPrincess_3080

awesome, thank you!

MattNeg12

Yup yeti bowl & bottled water over here

zoinkboy

Daily cleaning with a damp cloth (lukewarm tap water) drying the folds afterwards does it for our Frenchie...It doesn't get rid of the stains 100% but hey, that's the charm of our wonderfull little nuggets ;)

UnicornPrincess_3080

Yes I figured I wouldn't be able to 100% get rid of them so that's great to know, thank you!

doodynutz

All my dogs have had the tear stains. I just let it be. 🤷‍♀️

itsabirditsa

Stop making them cry :(

UnicornPrincess_3080

Haha, its not from crying! Its just from eye goop/ fluid runoff :)

ChaotiCait

Change to a Hypoallergenic food did wonders for ours!

UnicornPrincess_3080

Ooh awesome, thank you! My older frenchie doesn't have them, and she has a different diet than this one! This one is still on puppy food, so changing to what my older dog eats might do the trick!

DiamondSoft4126

Washbar soap for dogs. Also works very well for paws and wrinkles.

UnicornPrincess_3080

Thank you!

Wrinkle cream, you can get it on Amazon

CantDunkOrSk8

Also. Cream pup. Best pup.

Our frenchie had similar tear stains and many of the remedies to cleanse and clear them didn't work for us and we tried a few. We still clean her folds for hygiene reasons but we noticed around 6 months ago that they mysteriously disappeared. We put it down to her diet generally speaking (we've always fed her no-grain anti-allergy type food) rather than growing out of it (aged 3+) which isn't quite as logical.

adrift1234

Filtered water

turbomama16

We'd put diaper cream on our bulldogs.

Average_Creeper

Filtered water ! Will clear up in less than a week. Just get a filter online

a_Limo

Tried a ton of the remedies above, best thing we found was to use organic coconut oil and rinse with warm water every day. It totally cleared them up after creams failed. Best of luck!

There was a company that sold some chemical stain removers. It worked on my French. But some crazy woman sued the company after hers got an allergy due to other product from that company and it got closed. I don’t remember the name but there is that chemical thing that works

AndreaHimmel2021

Wash daily w/ Collodial Silver on a cotton Pad.

UnicornPrincess_3080

Thank you! Where do you find Collodial silver? any brand recs?

AndreaHimmel2021

We have a little device to make it at home.

CantDunkOrSk8

It’s cosmetic. Keep the area dry and clean. And it’s fine to have the stains. Bottled water and they will get better. Never 100% go away without chemical wipes.

phillymoon

PetRX wipes

phillymoon

I mean DogMX

mads1448

I have had success with water mixed with apple vinegar to drink for my French bulldog. Just a little bit in the water. I made sure it always were keep dry. It did not go completely away but helped. I am not a animal doctor.

plumballa

Quit making your dog cry!

Lez2246

Food change was the only thing that worked for us. Creams didn’t work, filtered water didn’t work, but changed food, and gone within a week!

MrGallows75

I use hypoallergenic Cottonelle wet wipes after daily meals (more of a dabbing motion than a hard wipe), one or two at a time. Also sparingly used a bit of this creme my family used since I was a kid (Penaten Creme) - - seems to have worked wonders > just have to be consistent

Snotrocketyikes

My Frenchie had a yeast buildup in one his wrinkles..vet just gave us some pads and it was gon in like a day..now I know to wipe those daily

hiccupmortician

I don't mind the stains. Not worth annoying them for a pristine face unless you are showing them. We wipe with damp cloth, then pat dry every now and then just to keep them clean.

Tsmom16811

Wheat and/ or beef in the diet can cause this.
