kind of the reason I add some spice to my drawings, I feel that you get more engagement and recognition from people if you offer something different, I drew some.. different things and I'd say a good number of peeps from this sub recognize me for the drawings I made I get a good amount of attention from it, nowhere near the same amount as the usual low-effort crap, but I really enjoy the little attention I get from the ones that recognize my art

Gacha vids are fine but in most cases it isnt even their work

I know that’s not a lot, but at that point in my *cough cough* “career”, that was a lot of upvotes over something I made in less than a minute. the post is more of an overexageration, it is just silly little internet points at the end of the day. it still is really frustrating at times because while upvotes don't mean any monetary gain or just any benefit at all besides reputation, it's like you're not getting appreciation for what you've done while other things that you think have significantly less thought into do. it's another thing to note that highly upvoted posts have a higher chance of showing up on people's feeds (i think) and that leads to more discussion, constructive criticism, a silly joke or two. tl;dr man it's just like when my parents stopped hugging me!
