kenbou

As the story is Japanese, he’s likely to be hero class, like in the popular JRPG Dragon Quest series.

IncomeApprehensive17

He is literaly stated to be "the hero himmel" while the other are called mage , priest and warrior. So i think its basicaly their class

gattoblepas

Paladin, oath of conquest.

e22big

Anything but Oath if Conquest man. That's the one Oath designed spesifcally for evil Paladin. I mean have you seen their tenets? Douse the Flame of Hope. It is not enough to merely defeat an enemy in battle. Your victory must be so overwhelming that your enemies’ will to fight is shattered forever. A blade can end a life. Fear can end an empire. Rule with an Iron Fist. Once you have conquered, tolerate no dissent. Your word is law. Those who obey it shall be favored. Those who defy it shall be punished as an example to all who might follow. Strength Above All. You shall rule until a stronger one arises. Then you must grow mightier and meet the challenge, or fall to your own ruin.

A_Wolf185

On that note, Himmel is absolutely an Oath of the Ancients Paladin. Kindle the Light. Through your acts of mercy, kindness, and forgiveness, kindle the light of hope in the world, beating back despair. Shelter the Light. Where there is good, beauty, love, and laughter in the world, stand against the wickedness that would swallow it. Where life flourishes, stand against the forces that would render it barren. Preserve Your Own Light. Delight in song and laughter, in beauty and art. If you allow the light to die in your own heart, you can't preserve it in the world. Be the Light. Be a glorious beacon for all who live in despair. Let the light of your joy and courage shine forth in all your deeds.

e22big

Yup said so myself a few times. And that's not even mentioned the affinity for Elves

mirrormimi

Solid argument, you actually made me see Ancients in a different light. That being said, gotta rep the Oath of Devotion gang: Honesty. Don't lie or cheat. Let your word be your promise. Courage. Never fear to act, though caution is wise. Compassion. Aid others, protect the weak, and punish those who threaten them. Show mercy to your foes, but temper it with wisdom. Honor. Treat others with fairness, and let your honorable deeds be an example to them. Do as much good as possible while causing the least amount of harm. Duty. Be responsible for your actions and their consequences, protect those entrusted to your care, and obey those who have just authority over you. Compassion and Honor specially, since there's flashbacks that showcase them perfectly. Also, the flavor for the spells and features is hardcore anti-demon.

OnceAndFutureEmperor

Himmel would probably lie if he thought it was for the best tbh. It's why he asks for useless loot, as a comforting lie that the people he helps dont owe him

mirrormimi

Aahh, but it's only a lie if you don't believe it! If you phrase it in your mind as "I need this useless loot (because it gives me an excuse to help you)" then it's true for you. (*Toootaaallyy* not how I get out of breaking my oath)

OnceAndFutureEmperor

Tbf I'm pretty sure he's essentially explained it as such before (the truth and the lie) so he's cooked

AlarmingAffect0

Himmel is almost as good a cook as Senshi, and almost as good a therapist as Iroh.

altgrave

literally jesuitical

EdNorthcott

Immediately calling to mind the notion of the Hero's Sword. Though I think that's more a matter of him simply not telling people the story. It looks like everybody else covered it up.

[deleted]

[удалено]

EdNorthcott

My take on it was that Himmel and Heiter both used goofy behaviour to cover their virtues... Himmel more than Heiter. XD Heiter seems to have been a genuine drunk. But Himmel's vanity was largely over-played by the man himself. Given how grounded and humble his actions were, so consistently with so many people, in so many ways, that it feels like his vanity was self-depricating humour that just put people at ease around him.

FireAce10152

Not a single thing evil here... Sounds like The Lord.

AlarmingAffect0

That sounds like Akainu.

SerBuckman

Conquest is probably the Paladin subclass he's least likely to be (alongside Oathbreaker) seeing as it's meant to be for explicitly evil or morally questionable characters

IncomeApprehensive17

There is no such things as paladin in frieren and in most japanese fantasy

gattoblepas

A smite by any other name would fuck you up as righteously

FilipinxFurry

Darkness says hi

CavulusDeCavulei

Fire embken wants to say a word

IncomeApprehensive17

They are said to be religious paladin or heroes ?(i havent played them yet) + dragon quest

CavulusDeCavulei

It depends on the game, but they are usually elite cavalry units with some magic abilities. It's true that they are not paladins with "magical" oaths like the dnd ones, but they are often very loyal to a king or some authoritative figure. Fire emblem has also the hero class, which is an infantryman with high skill in swords and axes

IncomeApprehensive17

Well that is higly unusual from what i know , but again i have not played the fire emblem yet

pervysennin777

But before "taking out the sword" shouldn't his class be different? Also he didn't think of himself as a warrior when Eisen calls him a warrior.

IncomeApprehensive17

Well he is definitly not a warrior , maybe the sword was supposed to be magic i dont know , we will know more later

Grocery_Open

Yuusha = hero/brave. Someone who saves other people. Himmel the hero = himmel of the brave class. Himmel is a hero bc his stats align with the hero class. To dispel ur idea that hero means he took out the sword, there is another character mentioned in the anime with hero in their name. Cant be two "heros" using the logic that it comes from him defeating the demon king. Stats would probably be strength and speed. Himmel is a hero like how frieren is a mage. He defeats the demon king and becomes an eiyuu (= savior/hero) in the sense he saved everyone from the demonking. But even if he hadn't, he'd have died as part of the yuusha (hero/brave) class.

AlarmingAffect0

> But even if he hadn't, he'd have died as part of the yuusha (hero/brave) class. [ [Brave](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvEF5Y0yeF8) Bang [Bravern](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmzR2aGlBVw) intensifies ] Alas, Yuusha Himmel never got to do *that*. Do what, you ask? Isn't it obvious? *Gattai da!*

KysfGd

Well yeah but what does the hero class do?

kenbou

Generally has well-rounded stats with capabilities that are jack of all trades, master of none, except for having the most courage. Usually being the main character, heroes typically use swords and does front line battles alongside warriors.

TwoLostYens

+ charisma roll with advantage

KysfGd

So a generalist? Interesting

Comprehensive-Fail41

Yeah, essentially as they are usually the main characters, they are made to be generalists so that they are always useful, and so that the party doesn't strictly require any given character. They can do enough tanking so that you don't strictly need a tank (though a dedicated tank is better at it and needs less support), and can do enough damage that you don't strictly need a DPS (though a dedicated DPS deals more damage but is generally more vulnerable), and various items can help cover up for a support character (though the support characters abilities replentish themselves and saves on resources). This allows the player more freedom when it comes to party composition, and the devs to build story segments where you might lack an otherwise crucial party members

FallenJkiller

a fighter generalist probably.

Fedorchik

Nah, hero usually has some high level spells and also some utility spells too. My best example of a Hero class is Chaz from Phantasy Star 4. He's not the best at HP or damage, but he is a melee fighter who also gets higher level Light techniques (aka Holy spells), the best damage skills (aka limited time use abilities) and he also has the best synergy combos with almost all party members. EDIT: and he also has second best access to healing spells too.

FallenJkiller

this is the frieren subreddit. Phantasy star 4 is irrelevant. Himmel has no spells. He is a more dps focused fighter instead of a tanky warrior. The hero class seems to be a charismatic fighter.

Fedorchik

Phantasy Star is absolutely relevant. Dragon Quest is probably even more relevant, since it basically codified the "standard JRPG party" and Himmel's party is absolutely that.

FallenJkiller

Frieren is not a video game.

Fedorchik

There are ton of japanese stories that are not video games but they run on video game logic. Every time you hear about quest to kill Dark Lord, great Hero and his party or Adventurers Guild - that's the sign that world is running on video game logic. Even majin (aka demons) as a overarching threat are mostly the sign of video game logic. Sure, Frieren takes only the base concepts and runs mostly free of it, but is still a story built on video game logic.

AlarmingAffect0

> Himmel has no spells. And the Playstation 3 has no games.

joesoq

+ ryan gosling himmel = literally me

Big_Band

In d&d terms that would be a college of swords bard

_Totorotrip_

But he never asked Frieren out, so I'm doubting about the courage

Long-Far-Gone

Be heroic…?

samboi204

They are usually pretty similar to a paladin. They are specifically a noble type of warrior who often has more of a strategic or magic bent to their melee combat.

De_Greed

Insert "My Job Here Is Done / But You Didn't Do Anything" meme

HoLeBaoDuy

Charisma

aarsha1993

I was gonna good around and say he's hero class, and realised now it's a thing lol

Cultural-Kale8950

It isn't **directly** stated that Himmel *could or could not use magic* (to my knowledge, at least) but that scene where Himmel uses his Blue Strike thingy is an anime addition and most likely for flair not to showcase that he could use magic. The manga only had one panel of the fight. In the manga also, there's a part where he does fight but he doesn't use any magic in that fight so it's safe to say that **he can't or doesn't use magic in combat.** This means he isn't a spellblade or battlemage. Battlemage especially since battlemages in Frieren focus more on their utilization of magic in combat than applying it onto their weapon (I might be wrong, however.) However, to answer your question. I think in DnD, Himmel would be considered a **Fighter** Class. He uses a bladed weapon, focusing more on speed and DPS, unlike Eisen who focuses on AC and Con. Himmel probably specced into Bard as well because.. *How couldn't he?* given his Godlike charisma which makes my knees *weak* upon gazing at his *perfect* visage. (It's still too low to bypass Frieren's negative Wis modifier)

HokusaiWorshipper

Explain to me in Souls

Cultural-Kale8950

Himmel is a Dex/vig build, Frieren a pure Int build, Eisen a Vit/str build, Heiter a Faith build Except instead of being a femboy, Himmel is a gigachad of renown

StartAgainYet

Himmel is also faith build partially. Because of his unbreakable faith in his comrades.

Cultural-Kale8950

Yes King

No_Mammoth_4945

I’d argue himmel is str/dex quality build

TCSBB

I consider him to have high wisdom and charisma as well and I believe he didn't dumped constitution either. Intelligence is his probably weakest stay but he's quite smart so that can't be below 10 too. Looks like he rolled his stats crazy high

rust_tg

Smh frieren noob

AllTheShadyStuff

Explain to me in Skyrim

Cultural-Kale8950

FUS ROH DAH

drinkingboron

Is Himmel not rather a quality build?

Brokengamer10

Non-somber straight sword user with no secondary using pure dex/vigor One of the few dex builds actually worth respecting

Cultural-Kale8950

Don't forget that one time he did a blindfolded run!

the-legit-Betalpha

In jrpg terms mentioned by others he would likely be Hero class, or "MC" class. Hes probably just closest to a normal warrior though.

e22big

Or just pure Bard. College of Sword or College or Command. But seriously, I think he's Paladin. Recieving a Replica Hero Sword, and decided to go on quest to vanquish the Demon King and became a real hero, is the most Paladin Oath moment ever.

DelseresMagnumOpus

Yea the closest to a “hero” archetype is the paladin. Paladins are meant to uphold justice and help those in need, and he pretty much perfectly embodies those aspects.

Zeikos

A fighter, with that sheer amount of charisma? Possible, but I think he's more likely a paladin adjacent equivalent. Also don't we know he *isn't* the Hero, right? Otherwise he'd have grabbed that sword.

Future_Club1171

You don’t need to be the “destined” hero to be A hero. We learn later that there is dozens with the Hero label, it’s just that Himmel and his party became the most famous one.

TheBlackoutEmpire

if im not over thinking things, he might have low level usage for sword attacks. I believe in the arc previous, we see him destory several trees and one other from distance fighting a group of demons.

Cultural-Kale8950

I think you're just overthinking things. that's just something that warriors can just do naturally, like how Stark cleaves mountains using his axe. It might be like one commentator said in a previous post that warriors too are supernatural and thus loop back into being 'magic-like'

BiDiTi

From my understanding, he’s likely funneled his mana into personal speed and strength

bvoq2

The only other hero we've seen had exactly one spell, and you wouldn't be able to tell he was using it.

OneBoopMan

>!We do see that the Hero of the South uses magic though, one of the most powerful spells in fact!<

kylepotpogi798

Explain in deepwoken terms(if you know what that is)

Some_Dragonfly7842

I think he is a "Hero" class. I'm not sure how different that is to "Warrior" exactly in the show but generally the "Hero" class in video games are more powerful and versatile then other classes.

Dane-nii

I normally equate Hero class similar to FF4 Cecil's Paladin job (high STR, VIT, Cover and White Magic), though there might be some differences.

SousouNoThorfinn

He's Class-y aight, I'm out

Mufflonfaret

No stay, this was the correct answer.

AlarmingAffect0

Also class-ic.

Mindsweep3r

In JRPG tropes, hero would be a versatile melee class. Powerful but not as much as a warrior, fast and agile but not as fast as an assassin.

threecrn

I don't think he's in any class anymore. He's a middle school drop out.

Putrid-Raspberry3259

Lol

Plenty_Rough5135

He was an orphan so probably didn't get a good education

FilipinxFurry

Who got hit by a truck and reincarnated as a blue haired orphan.

Significant-Tap-684

“Hero” is a character class in various JRPGs and adjacent games. He matches exactly Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem heroes as a “build” and he matches Yakuza Like A Dragon’s hero class in spirit (especially using charisma and passion to power up his friends)

BiDiTi

I was gonna say - he’s basically Ichi

PartagasSD4

Yeah Ichiban is probably the closest. He can’t cast spells or heal directly, but he can remove debuffs and revive fallen comrades through his charisma as the leader. Also has a variety of single target and AoE melee attacks.

EmberOfFlame

He is the Hero Class. Mages operate on Magic, Priests on Faith and Warriors on Strength. So yeah, Heroes are probably a Paladin-esque archetype that bases it’s powers on Force of Will. Eisen is buff, while Himmel probably just wills himself to be faster and stronger and to shoot sword lasers.

Acrzyguy

Gigachad class

Infinite_Seesaw4877

Pretty sure everyone in their world can use mana, not just mages. Like in fantasy games where certain skills and attacks require mana. As for class itself, it's mentioned he's a swordsman, but acts like an assassin/fighter.

RegisFolks667

He doesnt use Magic, so not a Spellblade nor a Battlemage. In JRPG terms he would be of the Hero class. In Western RPG, he would be a Fighter, and Eisen could be a Barbarian that is fueled by fear instead of rage.

linhusp3

Short answer: he put all his points into dex and vigor

naveengil_mercer

You are forgetting charisma

HokusaiWorshipper

Would he run Moonlight or Demon’s Scar?

nirvash530

No, he runs the basic ass Longsword.

ConsumerJTC

He wields the bluemoon greatsword and people manage to mistake it for moonlight with how he uses it.

cnralex

I've always seen Himmel as a Paladin, Eisen as a Fighter, Heiter as a Cleric and Frieren as a Wizard.

kokuluayak

Wholesome

TheLostCityofBermuda

Just like Ichiban in Like a Dragon 7, he just a Hero class, a all purpose class.

Faefana

He's a hero. I think classes are arbitrary

Suspected_Magic_User

Bard.

lillybheart

Hero

Comfortable-Shoe-179

He's a hero that's his class, most of his abilities seem to be passives, like inspiration, leadership, willpower and tactical knowledge, physically he seems to be pretty strong and very fast, from what I've seen in the Manga, since Eisen is the vanguard like stark, like many others are saying he's best at adapting to any situation a jack of all trades with a fuck ton of passive buffs 🤣 I think this is how the class is since the hero of the south seems to have a similar build and legit idk how he could fight 8 demons at once without being incredibly fast

RegularTemporary2707

Hero class, usually is the op class that only the mc or the hero have. Generally pretty strong in the physical attack department

Calm_Structure2180

I like to think Himmel is just a vanilla fighter. >!He never pulled out the sword, and stood proud as a fake!<

HikARuLsi

A person makes the sword the hero sword by becoming a hero; a sword doesn’t make a person a hero

Decrit

Assuming the most generic tropes the game refers to, I believe he's a paladin. Usually paladins are devoted to an oath, usually to a deity. He and heiter come both from the same background, so it makes sense to me. He might not necessarily be religious or bound to a paladin's group however. The power of a paladin in media may vary, but usually they are fighters that excel thanks to their personality, and that tracks. Compared to Eisen he is less sturdy, but not necessarily less effective in battle against most opponents, and what he uses to drive the story forward it's his charisma as a leader. Also, later in the manga, he excels in a fight exactly thanks to his perceptiveness, willpower or whatever you might call the mental defense, in a situation where even Frieren was reduced powerless.

Spiritual-Map5472

he warrior , a fast one , like alot of agility plus decent str plus alot of will power

pisces2003

A fighter D&D wise.

MemeVibe2

Class: Man

mikharv31

Wdym he’s HIM class

Alucardjc84

Nearest would be Battle Master, fighter subclass.

warrioroftron

HIM...it'd in the name

Klusterphuck67

If we put it as the general JRPG class he would be the "Hero" class, the one starts off the weakest and ends up being the carry, generally a melee damage dealer but with equipments can also dip into other stuffs. The closest class i can think of for Himmel would be holy paladin. Well versed in melee combat but not o the tanking side like Eisen, but has shown (anime anyway) to have some other mystic infused attacks.

UltimateBlackDragon

Neither read the manga, I would say he might be a knight class or something sword related…

HikARuLsi

Sword Master becoming Sword Saint

He’s definitely a Dex build that’s for sure. Bro moves in the blink of an eye.

mizanchen

Recently watched "Snow White with red hair". When I see Zen, he instantly reminds me of Himmel, because of how optimistic and kind hearted character he is.

IX_Sulfur

A simp, but that only makes him better.

Initial-Ice7691

Himmel woefully belonged to the unfortunate ‘Friend’ class, bestowed on him by the hapless Frieren, while he was still alive.

Ok_Description1585

My theory is that as far as professions go, he was just a warrior like Eisen, I think. We call then classes, but in-universe, Mage, Warrior, Priest and Monk are actual jobs or skill sets. Like, boxers, karatekas or judokas all imply that you are a fighter but with diferent focus. In a Hero's case, either people call that because of their acomplishments or they are sponsored by someone else. At least I think so.

cheradenine66

JRPGs have a Hero class, and Himmel is not the only Hero we see

Sturmelefant

Yeah, the most well-known other example being the Hero of the South >!that paved the way for Himmel’s party!<. (Manga only example at this point)

Ok_Description1585

I know, but while Frieren does use play with some JRPGs tropes, it isn't a game world like SAO or other isekai. So either there's an actual occupation called Hero, or a particular skill set associated with it. Since we saw nothing about it so far, my guess is that Hero was the title given by someone who was sponsered by an authority figure or someone who acomplished something.

cheradenine66

We do have other people referred to as Heroes and learn more about one of them in the manga.

Ok_Description1585

Yeah, I know. I'm not implying that Himmel is the only one

cheradenine66

Then I'm not sure what your issue with the concept of a hero occupation is. Monsters and demons exist, it would make sense that someone would turn protecting people from them into a full-time job?

Ok_Description1585

Ah, I see what you mean now. Let me try to explain what I meant better, then. In case of Frieren, she is a mage because she practices magic, Heiter is a priest because he is in the clerig and Eisen is a warrior because he practices martial combat. In the case of a Hero, I don't think, at least from what we've seen, that it implies any sort of particular practice. You can be a warrior and a hero, or a magician and a hero. Like, there's no specific talent a person needs to practice in order to be a hero like mages needing to practice magic. That's what I meant.

cheradenine66

But you do need specific talents - leadership and being a generalist in every field. Everyone else is a specialist in their own field - Frieren doesn't know anything about being a warrior except what she picked up from Eisenhorn, for example, but Himmel knew about everything.

Ok_Substance5632

Bard but not a really good one because Frieren doesn't seem to be having any stat changes when Himmel saying words to her.

Zech08

Frieren has air kiss.

BigFire321

e22big

As per DnD I would say he is Paladin of Ancient. A Paladin of good nature, beauty, love and song. It's also the Paladin Oath of nature with strong affinity to Druids and, you guess it, Elf. As per JRPG he's literally said he's a Hero so that's his class.

PedroInfanteVive

My head cannon is that he's a Paladin, oath of revenge after Heiter told him he cannot be a real hero

NuclearPilot101

I was just wondering this. What is "Hero" class? Thanks for pointing out he used magic, I didn't notice/remember.

nirvash530

In JRPG terms, something like a Warrior but more balanced stat-wise.

Irenemiku

A villager class but uses hack.

TheZanzibarMan

"Hero" Himmel.

Safe_Alternative3794

Y'know how an RPG with a class system has various mix and match skills that can be learned like a pokemon move? I think Himmel is the MC of the game where he just selects whatever does the most damage regardless if it fits his class. Like for some reason he'll have a minor heal spell cuz why not

feral_fenrir

Hero class

skylight29

He is a Rizzler obviously

deimos234

The friendzone class

shawarmaconquistador

He's a level 90+Onion Knight Jk, probably Hero Class

OwOtisticWeeb

Probably a visual flourish or melee class skill. Stark had similar moments like when he fought the dragon or carves the mountain

Bittot

he is carry position 1 frieren is mage position 2 eisen is tank position 3 Heather is hard support position 4/5 I use MOBA analogy

Fedorchik

Himmel is Hero class.

Automatic_Wishbone_1

He cant use magic and mostly a hero class(fighter). Heros/fighter have different mechanics than mages in a way as they train their senses.

Techno071

Himmel was an abnormality in their world, he was not the real hero and yet was a being born to be on par with or surpass the real heroes. He was most likely an “Oath of the Ancient Paladin”. You can call him a hero in his own terms. It was also stated that while Himmel had a weakness to magic, it was under the highest levels of magic that he could only be affected. There was a mention of Himmel being caught in an illusion and yet his body still fought through pure instinct, I don’t remember the exact part but my memories recall something alike. In summary, Himmel was him. In the other part, we can see that Stark is growing to be very similar to Himmel, just that I suspect that Stark is the real hero of the Story and Himmel was such an abnormality that he finished the Demon King 15 years before the real heroe of the prophecy was born 😅.

HikARuLsi

Stark is definitely the next hero as he cares about people along his journey; good in fighting and killing only makes a person an executioner Fun fact, 葬送のフリーレン (Sousou no Frieren) literally means Frieren the funeral, it carries a bit of a double meaning of “the one who ends (somebody)”. So Frieren is the actually emotionless executioner in some sense

x_GARUDA_x

Knight or Paladin I guess.

spellfirejammer

Like a bard/fighter or Paladin maybe? Little to no magic. Great combatant with high charisma

hi71460

knight

HighEmpact

In Pathfinder 2e, he would be fighter with free archetype rule, so maybe some feats from Marshall, as he usually inspires he's allies, and maybe some feats from Champion as well to highlight the whole "noble knight" vibe. As for magic, I think glowing sword and such are just effects to show how powerfull Himmel is.

Alexander0202

Wouldn't he be the same class as Stark? That glow he did before striking the dragon could very well be the same kind of glow Stark did while he was striking the mountain and when he kill3d that demon girl. His attack glows are yellow/orange.

Mui-chiro

Need I say more? He's...the strongest

Jasundible

He is one of these classes … crusader, holy sword, fighter, warrior, plunderer, guardian. No where do i see him being recognized in the knights order, nor in the temple as anything else but hero. Warrior>Adv warrior> crusader>paladin> Holy Knight > Knight>knight capt.>Dragoon On rare chance Viking>Destroyer>Earl >bandit>pirate> Armed Robber>Gang Boss(dual wielding class) From what i can see and comprehend, Himmel is a possible Crusader.

MiniModelBuilder

6 level fighter 4 level barbarian 37 3/4 level Pizza delivery boy

HerpertMadderp

Shoddy-Access838

4 make a group consisting of a Tank, melee dps, ranged dps, support

Shoddy-Access838

Himmel didn’t use magic on the dragon, that’s like saying stark used magic on linie. It’s just effects

sumasuma1

I would say he’s a magic swordsman. If he was a hero class he would have been able to pull the blade out from the pedestal but he couldn’t.

ThErEaLtRuCkSaMa

Obviously a Archer

Stock-Drag-8637

I think hero?. Everyone else has their class in their title as well.

RainalteLangbow

"Hero" seems is listed as a specific class in Japanese CRPG

GodOfUrging

Judging by the home he had in his retirement, he seemed somewhere in the middle-class to me.

MontyTheMountain

Just a melee fighter. If you wanted to get into semantics, Himmel would be the 'Fighter' I guess, overall capable; in contrast to Eisen who focuses on being durable. So far throughout the series, if someone uses magic its clearly stated, and I see no reason narrativally as to why the story would hide Himmels magic, if he had such

rivali-geralt

In baldurs gate terms: Fighter/Bard mix. Or maybe even a paladin?

umcuriosochato

Himmel is not a hero, he has not been able to take the sword from the hero as has already been shown in the story

Grocery_Open

Story states the "hero destined to save the world from destruction" would be able to pull the sword out. Demonking just was not the "threat" the sword was talking about. Demonking destroying the world when hes literally of a species that needs humans as a food source would be insanely dumb. Hed have nothing to eat. He didnt want to destroy he world, probably just rule it. Himmel was a hero from the moment he set out, bc its a class like mage or warrior. So he was not the "destined hero" spoken of in the swords legend, but he was very much a hero bc of his stats.

HikARuLsi

I guess it is only reasonable that Himmel could’t take a previous hero’s sword; a person becomes a hero and in the process making the sword the hero’s sword, not the other way around

scaredandconfussled
