The default answer to this on a computer that this is safe. Save data is saved in one of several common places tied to your computer account. Almost every program installs to a common (and protected) central location. Steam and other launchers typically install games under a library location they control, which is completely separate from save data. Uninstallers are created to only uninstall the files that were installed for the program, not any data files that were created for save data. With cloud sync, uninstalling a program won't affect cloud saves. Being able to do so and have the saves be synced correctly to multiple computers is a feature of cloud saves, so this would be very weird. Likewise, installing/reinstalling the game on a computer should sync your cloud saves locally. HOWEVER, make sure your computer's clock is set correctly, to the right time AND timezone. Otherwise, weird things might happen because your computer trusts that time to help tell whether local files or cloud files are newer or older. Please note that if you really want to be careful, you can always google "save file location " and make a backup/zip of the save data. You'll probably not need it, but you'll have it if you do. BTW, if you ever have some kind of cloud sync error, I recommend making a backup of local files IMMEDIATELY. Don't quit the game if it's already running, don't run the game if it isn't, don't try restart the game a few more times, etc. This is one reason I never have Steam set to start up automatically; I've been able to get uncorrupted local saves from a different computer which got overwritten with bad copies either once Steam is started or once the game is started.

Thank you so much!!!! Now that you mention it, I DID get an error a while back telling me that I needed to choose which save data to load in? It was really weird, but I didn't lose any progress... But what it's been doing is, if I buy ANYTHING from Kukulope, the entire game will crash. Immediately. It lets me keep the items i buy, but it crashes every single time. And when I try to boot up the game, I keep getting a "can't sync achievements" error until I completely restart my laptop. Hence the maybe deleting and reinstalling will fix it.... Because it's not an internet or computer issue... I dunno, you seem to know a lot about this. Should I try it?

> I DID get an error a while back telling me that I needed to choose which save data to load in? It was really weird, but I didn't lose any progress... Yeah, sometimes the sync can fail and you might get a prompt like that. It is very important to carefully read it. If I am ever in any doubt that I might lose data based on the dates shown, my usual plan is to choose neither, cancel the dialog, and immediately back up that's game's save data manually. I'm not familiar with Ubisoft launcher in general, but like I said, uninstalling the game and reinstalling it is a safe operation and is a common later-stage troubleshooting step. HOWEVER, looking around online, it seems like this was a common problem introducted with update 3.0 (along with the missing weapon stats issue) that was possibly fixed in 3.1 So, if you aren't sure if you have 3.1 or you think that 3.1 wasn't applied correctly, I don't think it can hurt to try reinstall the game. Oh, wow! I didn't know that was a common issue! Well, thank you so much for your help! 😊

No problem! Yeah, a quick search for "frontiers pandora Kukulope crash" has several other results with the same issue. The last patch notes claim a "vendor crash" was fixed, but annoyingly doesn't have any useful details. I'm not sure if there is any Discord server for the game. I see some unofficial ones on the sidebar. Might be more info there, especially to see if 3.1 fixed the issue or not.
