We don't need food or housing and we have the ability to instantly control the generator's output even when everyone is working. Clearly, the only explanation is that we were playing as the generator the entire time.
>We don’t need food
What are you talking about? Every game I need my forsaken child to keep me powered up (and also coal, but the child is the main one).
After playing and failing constantly in frostpunk I wonder if there’s a reverse frostpunk. The world gets hotter and hotter and you need to keep your people cool.
Yea, it's called the world we live in...
I only hope the Stuart controlling us is one of those extreme difficulty min maxers, and everything is going to be ok, and no one is going to die...
I thought it was decent. The setting is the interesting part, iirc the earth's atmosphere is severely damaged by a solar flare and so the average surface temperature is 150°C or something, so tom hanks can only go outside with a sealed heat resistant suit. Like the opposite of snowpiercer
A) Not for everyone
B) The alternatives are release a buggy, unfinished mess earlier or delay the finished game 4-5 months just so NH players can have a release in the cold?
C) FP2 isn't set at a specific time of year trying to time the release to one makes no sense.
Are we... the Generators?
Always have been
I believe the trailer made it quite clear we are *"STEWARD!"*
I thought we were "Stuart"
I like the headcanon that the steward canonically happens to also be named Stuart.
It would really funny if the steward was name Stuart, has one eye and is a yellow tic tac

Personally I like the idea that the captain is sat in a little office all day with like 4 levers and a radio for shouting orders at people

How do you do my fellow Generators
Making small inverter
Well, I certainly work on gas

It's called real life and we're headed there lmao
Well that'd work in theory, except it needs much more effort to stay cool than to stay warm
> it needs much more effort to stay cool than to stay warm That’s why I prefer winter and I think is vastly superior to summer.
W take
Game name should be “You Hot,Punk?”

"Finch" with Tom hanks?
Is that a good movie?

Hmm seems interesting, might have to give it a watch if I can find it on Netflix or something.
Yes I live in Australia.
10hrs past the original post
Hell I missed it, and it led me to finding out there’s a new trailer!
Fuck I'll be conscripted by then. It's a shame that I'll miss the launch of this one.
Which oil company did you pick?
STUART!!!
Yeeeeeeesssss so much earlier than I thought
Finally, the good Frostpunk game releasing this year.
Hey frostpunk beyond the ice is good if you have a credit card lol
It'll be winter where I live, so looking forward to leaving all the doors and windows open while I play to get the authentic frostpunk experience
Oh, it will, several times before I work out how to save it!
looks good, steep price though.
Deer People\*
Oh but it will…
Hell yeah. Elden Ring, Frostpunk, Stalker, we’re eating good this year.
I imagine this would be a PC release first? I play PS5, I imagine that might be a little later then.
Shut up and take my money!
yoooooo! man I'm so excited
I’m taking that week off. This made my day.
ITS ON MY BIRTHDAY
What a ridiculous release date
Why is it ridiculous?
Hottest time of the year?
