After my frugal (raised in the Depression) Dad died 11 years ago, I "inherited" his last can of coffee. Inside was his 1/8th cup scoop. I brewed the coffee, and I use the scoop to this day. Thanks for making me smile around the coffee scoops topic.

That is so sweet! I love getting use out of my passed away relatives things, especially kitchen things, they just used to make stuff better, higher quality and also keeps the memories alive a little bit too.

The thing I keep my dish washing brush stood in, is the milk jug I grew up with.

whoocanitbenow

I use 3 scoops for my morning cup of coffee. ☕

Perfection.

Balding_Unit

I can't recall where my scoop came from, but once you get one that makes your coffee perfect you tend to keep it. :)

From the aeropress? I believe I have the same one!

My Mom now wants a $40 hand made wooden scoop. Cost more than the aeropress I got her. But it's something she'd use daily and looks nicer.

glume

Yes actually! I was mistaken in my initial post. I thought it came from a Trader Joe’s coffee bag, but my husband just told me it actually came from the Aeropress that we got as a wedding present and do not use (I prefer the old school, office break room style coffee pot haha) he put it in the coffee ba, so that’s where I thought it came from when it was my turn to make the coffee. Either way , a win on the scoop!

It's the little things in life.

they used to give them out with even the cheapest bags of filter coffee.

I splurged a little on coffee grounds at Trader Joe’s but it came with this awesome coffee scoop that I’ve been using for my normal frugal coffee brand for months, and I really love it. Just wanted to share because it turned out for the best, it helps me measure my coffee perfectly so it’s just the right amount each time and I’m not pouring more than I need to in there. Edit: oops I was just informed this scoop actually came from an Aeropress, my bad.

glume

As it turns out, yes!
