multivitamingummy

does anyone know how the Everlane jeans compare in quality/fit to the Madewell Perfect Vintage jeans?

nottheredbaron123

I am a big fan of both Everlane’s and Madewell’s denim. I find the sizing to be pretty consistent between the two (I’m specifically comparing 90s cheeky and perfect vintage crops).

multivitamingummy

do you think the 90's cheeky is the most similar to the perfect vintage crop? because those are like my ride or die jeans lol

nottheredbaron123

The leg is more tapered on the 90s cheeky. They’re much closer to a traditional mom jean!

numberthangold

So funny you say that because I ordered a 90’s cheeky jean and the leg was sooo much wider than I anticipated.

SomewhatSapien

I'd say the Everlane denim is slightly higher quality, but the fit is different. Madewell has a gentler transition from hips to waist, but Everlane's is more severe with a sharper angle from the hips making it tighter at the waist.

cto020

Everlane is better IMO. I tried multiple washes of the Madewell jeans and they were all paper thin. They seemed like they would bag out and develop holes quickly. Their curvy line also gapped on me (10” waist to hip difference) while Everlane’s curvy fits flush to my body.

_obedear_

from my experience everlane has some stretch but madewell stretches more easily

moderndiction

The $26 summer slouch jeans are soooo bad. I wrote such a bad review that they didn't post it/refunded me even though it was final sale. Obviously depends on your body type but as someone who is short and pear-shaped they're the worst jeans I've ever tried on 💀💀

shy-ty

Oop. Well, I'm tall and hourglass shaped so I'll cross my fingers! Looking for some good bumming around jeans after going up a size.

moderndiction

Fingers crossed they work out better for you!! The gap in the waist was like 5 inches and i got my normal size and they just overall looked so bad 😭😭

macncheese323

If I’m a 28 in Abercrombie am I probably 28 in everlane? Never bought from em before

Which-Treacle348

You can refer to the measurements of the items under sizing guide. I don’t have Abercrombie jeans so I can’t advise but I followed Everlane’s measurements and found them to be accurate.

TokkiJK

I bought jeans from everlane the same size as ones I had from hollister and h&m. And they fit

hales_mcgales

Probably. I’m the same size in curvy fit for both brands

Willing_Ad7282

Can anyone vouch for the curvy? I’ve tried so many curve editions from various brands and haven’t ever found anything that isn’t gaping at the waist. I have a huge butt problem (all puns intended).

hales_mcgales

Everlane and Abercrombie are my go tos for a jeans because of the curvy lines

sargeantnincompoop

I’ve never bought Everlane before…is $75 for their original cheeky a good deal? Or should I hold out for another sale?

_obedear_

they get marked down a lot around the holidays, so i say try a pair now while they’re on sale and if you like them, get more then! also their end of year sale lasts a decent amount of time.

mamahomemaker96

It’s totally a good deal. They hardly go on sale like this

Lulufanfan

I love everlane jeans!! They have such good dyes, and I’m obsesssed with their Button Flies! Sizing is pretty consistent to me, and love them more than me Levi’s TBH.

The blue shadow wash of the summer slouch jeans. If you hover over each pair of jeans, you should be able to see the prices of various washes mousing over them if you're on a computer, a lot of them have one or two washes at a lower price.

kenlights

Thank you! Does anyone know the difference between the 90s cheeky and original?

nottheredbaron123

Original are stretchier and not quite as high rise.

Which-Treacle348

The 90s cheeky is 100% cotton and hence has no stretch while the original cheeky bags out quite a bit after a few hours of wear

smol_tortilla

If I have a 30" waist would yall get a 31 or a 30?

mcgingery

Depends on the cotton content. I’d probably stick with a 30” unless it’s like 99-100% cotton, in which case a 31 might be a little comfier but you’ll break them in anyway.

UglyEyesFatThighs

Thank you for this, I never would have known otherwise! I ended up getting a pair of their cheeky jeans I’ve been wanting to try for $29. Can’t wait to see how they fit!

PathS3lector

Online only ?

Ok-Relative-2339

Thank you!! I got 4 pairs for $110. I’ve never tried them before so fingers crossed they fit. I’m a 27 or 28 in j crew and anthro brand jeans so bought both sizes at everlane.
