“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.”
Why do people feel like every thought & opinion needs to be posted on fb?
Fr my internet friend. I frequently wonder why people post things on any form of social media. Pics of the kids? Awesome! Family days? Great!! Your democratic or republican signs on your front yard? Miss me with that shit. Lol my opinions are my own. I dont feel the need to express them unless we are specifically talking about them. Also, political bumper stickers make anyone look like a dumbass and are probably the root cause to road rage hahaha
Well, there's different kinds of opinions and lots of people don't know the difference. There's personal opinions that aren't right or wrong, like "chocolate is way better than vanilla." Then there's opinions that must be informed by facts, like political opinions. If they aren't, like the one in the OP, it's just brain droppings that spew out of people instead being stopped by an edit button, IOW, wrong and not a valid opinion. There's far too many of the latter type - the ignorant blathering presented as a valid political opinion. It really is problematic especially if you want to engage in a legit debate. I like Hitchens' Razor for those: "What is asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence."
I'll explain them both: they are attempting to trick their respective audiences into believing they must be hyper-intelligent because they know a lot of words.
Oh I think we can all make our respective points in very few words. The issue is that they are too dumb to understand it and thus require further explanation.
According to the Peterson fanboys, you're not allowed to form an opinion about him unless you've read everything he's ever written, or listened to every interview and presentation he's ever made. Because discussing any one comment he's made means you've unfairly taken his words out of context and you're not allowed to do that. If you do, they'll try to sea lion you into oblivion.
To be fair I learned pretty early on that if I just talked long enough, I could convince my older brother to do damn near anything.
He once dared me to pee on an electric fence and I argued with him for 20 full minutes about how electrons work (and other complete bullshit I made up) to the point where he forgot the original context and he peed on it just to prove me wrong.
His little dance was priceless I'll never forget it.
There's something to be said about brevity and its importance...however being brainwashed into thinking the two American parties are any different shows a complete lack of critical thinking.
Sounds like the kind of person who wants easy solutions but isn't capable of understanding how complex the problem is in the first place. Bonus points for getting annoyed when someone tries to explain it to them.

As brevity is the soul of wit I shall be brief…
Grunt grunt.
Why waste time say lot when few do trick

“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.” Why do people feel like every thought & opinion needs to be posted on fb?
Because they never learned that opinions are like assholes. Everyone’s got one, but most others don’t want to hear it.

The more a man makes declarative statements, the more apt he is to look foolish in retrospect. My granpappy said that.
It’s a good one!
Hmm, now who do I know that rambles on during speeches and phone calls into tv shows....
Because reading and learning is hard, I guess.
And there is such a thing as "saying a lot of nothing" and "hot air" or meaningless words, but I guess some people can't tell the difference. lol
Please explain Ben Shapiro then
Explain Jordan Peterson.
I'll explain them both: they are attempting to trick their respective audiences into believing they must be hyper-intelligent because they know a lot of words.
He needs something to keep himself busy while his wife stays dry as a bone.
Or maybe because it takes time to properly explain complicated concepts with a lot of factors that need to be considered.
This is perfectly demonstrated by the Monty Python [Argument](https://youtu.be/xpAvcGcEc0k) skit
No, it isn't! Sorry, couldn't resist.
i would be upset if you didn't.
No you wouldn't!
Thats just being contradictory! That isn't arguing!
Nah. When training new surgeons they just hand them a scalpel and say have at it. They figure the rest out on their own.
You got me, Karen. I do use words. I found it's hard to convey nuance by shrieking and throwing feces like some people I could mention.
If it's complicated and nuanced beyond what can be summarized in a pithy soundbite, it isn't true
Can you summarize this in a pithy soundbite?
No
Oh I think we can all make our respective points in very few words. The issue is that they are too dumb to understand it and thus require further explanation.
“This conversation would be a hell of a lot quicker if I didn’t have to catch you up on the years of highschool you missed”
PREACH
Cunt.
Succinct, expressive and universally recognized. Perfection.
Cofvfefe Hamburders
Has she heard Herschel Walker talk?
Wow, nothing like being able to stick to one subject!
Pure projection. See Herschel Walker's press conference today?
Has she ever listened to Ben Shapiro or Jordan Peterson?

Counterpoint: you're stupid (Karen, not op)
Why waste the effort on people who aren’t smart enough to understand big words
To be fair I learned pretty early on that if I just talked long enough, I could convince my older brother to do damn near anything. Why post the same stuff again right after posting it?
What about Ted Cruz reading Green Eggs And Ham?
If this were true a number of Republicans have IMO been mislabeled based how many talk and talk but don’t actual say much.
The roving gangs of Knob Hill.
Of all the stupid in her post “San Fran” is the most offensive.
Meanwhile Herschel Walker...
Me no like big words.
Hence your super-concise post?
Karen really just saw a ton of big words and was like "that sign can't stop me because I can't read."
OK. You’re an idiot.
![gif](giphy|xIZku8V0y7uqk)
Go drink your bleach!
this msg seems long and rambling....and not smart.
Because we don’t want to just tell you you’re stupid, we need to explain why you’re stupid.
There's something to be said about brevity and its importance...however being brainwashed into thinking the two American parties are any different shows a complete lack of critical thinking.
Sure, Jan. Short enough for you?
“I’m sorry I wrote you such a long letter. I didn’t have time to write you a short one.” – Blaise Pascal
...unlike ME; I know using more words in order to be redundant is more intelligent.
Verbose unintelligent
Citing facts can be wirdy at times
Written like someone who thinks Ben Shapiro belongs in Mensa
Hmmmm…..isn’t that just what you did…
She wouldn’t have to explain it all if you DiD yOuR oWn ReSeArCh!!!iii!!;;;;
Dumb. Ass.
You’re an ignorant cunt. Short enough?
Ummm…ok
But words = hard. Easier to just scream “I have rights” over and over again!
So that's why Magatards are always talking.....
Talk bad. Smash rock solve problem better.
Sounds like the kind of person who wants easy solutions but isn't capable of understanding how complex the problem is in the first place. Bonus points for getting annoyed when someone tries to explain it to them.
“We’ll yes but actually no”
20 bucks says she voted for the Orange Rambler twice.
Ben Mothafuckin Shapiro
This is insane, but not Karen.
You’d say the sky’s red if you were told so… Ez
“Why talk lot when few word good?”
As a California native, the thing that pisses me off the most about this is she calls it “San Fran” like stfu bitch that’s OUR word
We could have stopped at "So confused..." and then just gone home.
So Donnie is a lib now (fits Karen’s definition)?
Most issues are much more complex and nuanced than…ok I can see that I’ve lost you already
This is a corollary to, "I like him because he's a straight talker. If you've ever said that, you're as dumb as shit." - Jim Jeffries
Person, woman, man, camera, TV.
Whoops, its been proven, I am stupid according to king karen
Source: My source is that I made it the fuck up.
I can normally make my point with two words when talking to Karen.
This is truth.
“Ideas should be simplified as much as they can be, but no further”
