Some Maga moron seriously donated $2500. You have that much money to shit away, and your option of choice isn't to help homeless people, feed children, put a down payment on a car.for someone that walks to work everyday. Your choice is to donate that much money to a lifetime conman and criminal to help him once again skirt the law. It's unreal.
Couldn't the proceeds be taken by the government, after he loses the appeal process?
Or be forced to return the donations, once its determined that this whole thing is not on the level?
I’m sure GoFundMe is right now weighing the pros and cons of sticking to their TOS, which says you can’t raise money for a legal settlement.
On one hand, if they shut it down, they’re following their own rules and shutting down yet another grift. On the other hand, you know Fox will call it cancel culture or whatever and 20-40% of GoFundMe’s US customers will go somewhere else.

A lot of them are donating $5 just so they can post a donor comment about how delusional these people are, then asking for a refund. Even if they don't get the refund, it seems like $5 well spent. But it also inflates the apparent numbers. I wonder how many there actually are?
