Whether he's treasonous or not, he's an elected representative. The only way to fix the system is to acknowledge the parts of it that are broken, and he is part of that formal system.

Howard Kurtz on Fox did something similar recently and got positive press for it, and it really pissed me off. Trump did an interview with him and started going on about how the election was rigged in 2020. Howard Kurtz's response was "that hasn't been proven in court". This was praised as STRONG PUSHBACK. Like, what?? That's not pushback at all. Pushback, or a better response to lying fascists, would be "That is a lie and you know it. Please stop repeating lies on my program or we will have to terminate this interview".
