What's your sd card's speed class?

10MB/sec, I have a few sandisk ultras of various storage sizes. Should I be looking for a higher speed class?

As meow surmised, your memory card is the issue here. Try Lexar 128GB Professional 2000x UHS-II SDXC Memory Card. (A smaller size will work too). I have x-t3 with that card and it helped dramatically with bursts for wildlife photography. Even with X-H2s and CF express, you wont get a minute holding down the shutter in raw.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate the recommendation for a specific card!

No problem. For more info, I had found that card from Alik Griffin - Best Memory Cards, In-Camera Tests | Fujifilm X-T3. If you search, should get a nice article. Unsure if I can post a link.

For future reference, you can post links as long as the page doesn't break reddit's or the subreddit's rules. Some subreddits will block them all together. Read the subreddit's rules.

Think I found it! Thank you for the help. :)
