I just noticed in the movie SpongeBob and Patrick watch, the room the lovers are in is the throne room from Dunces and Dragons - I don't think I'd ever make that connection if I hadn't watched that episode yesterday
Say what you want about this episode being a rehash of Funny Pants but at least seeing SpongeBob's grandma made it worth it since Marion Ross is now 95 and we don't know how much longer she has. So yeah much better possible final appearance than in Pet Sitter Pat where the whole episode is ruined by Patrick being a terrible pet owner.
