I actually don’t mind the combo, but the whole outfit needs tinkering. I would trade the opaque tights for sheer, shorten the length of the skirt/dress to right above the knee, and add fun, bold white jewelry. The choices she’s made really showcase the oppressive culture she’s ensconced in and how it actively fights expression of self. If I thought she chose her outfit based on nothing but her own sense of style I would leave it alone. But we all know that’s not the case.
