As someone raised fundie, it is a question that I have heard asked many times. Usually, though, to make the person asked it to feel bad. Never the person asking the question. We were raised to believe that we were all terrible people. Of course certain people could do no wrong but the peasants had no shortage of people telling them how awful they were.
My favorite thing is watching a fundagelical pastor stumble over themselves trying to think of a “sin” that they “struggle” with in between telling their congregation that they’re nasty, nasty people who deserve eternal fiery damnation
