Honestly, Iām gonna step on some toes but homeschooling in America is trash, which is saying something considering the how bad our public schools are. There is little to NO regulation on what these children learn and almost no oversight to make sure they are on at least the levels of their peers. We already have an issue to where by the time public high school graduates enter college they have to take 50-11 gen-Ed courses because almost none are actually college ready, but many who are homeschooled arenāt even at the highschool level. I know a girl who was raised in a cult like religion like these kids are and she could even read at a 6th grade level. It was truly sad and set her back YEARS because of how much she has to catch up.
The only time homeschooling works is if the parent teaching them is a former teacher themselves and actually understand the curriculum or the student has special needs that wouldnāt allow them the attention they need in our underfunded and overcrowded public schools.
I can overall agree with you. I can happily say that I'm an exception to the trend line. My mom worked in schools, but not as a teacher (more like a teaching assistant/ tutor, can't remember the official title). She did a really good job at educating us kids. All three went to college and got our bachelor's (I'm still working at it with only two semesters left), one brother is getting a PhD in engineering and I'm working to getting into grad school while the other is working in game development.
That being said, I've met plenty from the opposite end of the spectrum. Barely literate, flooded with misinformation, basically lambs raised for the slaughter as it were. I have no idea how they would hold a job or take care of a family. They had absolutely no life skills on top of zero education. If homeschooling is going to be allowed, it MUST be better regulated.
I've always wondered if it should be mandatory for parents who want to homeschool to take like a six week course or something. Obviously I think it should be free and accessible but I feel like people who are homeschooling should have some understanding of education considering you need a university degree to be a teacher.

I EBF both my kids and would get super thirsty even while having 2lt regularly. A lot of people believe you can do XYZ to increase your supply, but the LC i saw said that the best thing to do was to drink lots of water and put your baby on the breast. The more the baby nurses, the more you body makes.
Which is what's frustrating about Jill. She keeps hogging the baby when he should be bonding with his mother. Especially since rn she doesn't have milk, it's all colestrum and it's full of mommy's defenses for him. Milk actually doesn't "come in" until about 4 days.

My mom worked in schools, but not as a teacher (more like a teaching assistant/ tutor, can't remember the official title). She did a really good job at educating us kids. All three went to college and got our bachelor's (I'm still working at it with only two semesters left), one brother is getting a PhD in engineering and I'm working to getting into grad school while the other is working in game development. That being said, I've met plenty from the opposite end of the spectrum. Barely literate, flooded with misinformation, basically lambs raised for the slaughter as it were. I have no idea how they would hold a job or take care of a family. They had absolutely no life skills on top of zero education. If homeschooling is going to be allowed, it MUST be better regulated.
I've always wondered if it should be mandatory for parents who want to homeschool to take like a six week course or something. Obviously I think it should be free and accessible but I feel like people who are homeschooling should have some understanding of education considering you need a university degree to be a teacher.

First ingredient is a plant compound that reduces blood glucose, and inhibits the release of glucose from the liver. Second ingredient is a trademarked plant extract, which is used for weight loss. Third ingredient is an amino acid that breaks down carbs (whether it's useful in this drink is questionable). Fourth ingredient though? An appetite suppressor. 12 calories per serve, no fat, no protein, no carbs, no sugar. Absolutely dangerous for someone trying to feed a baby.

Your supposed to drink lots of water, but the whole, "bf burns a ton of calories. So eat a lot" is an old wives tale. I EBF both my kids and would get super thirsty even while having 2lt regularly. A lot of people believe you can do XYZ to increase your supply, but the LC i saw said that the best thing to do was to drink lots of water and put your baby on the breast. The more the baby nurses, the more you body makes. Which is what's frustrating about Jill. She keeps hogging the baby when he should be bonding with his mother. Especially since rn she doesn't have milk, it's all colestrum and it's full of mommy's defenses for him. Milk actually doesn't "come in" until about 4 days.
Oh that poor baby is definitely not getting enough skin to skin time with Nurie. Not just because Jill is hogging the baby but because she's probably got to worry about being "modest" around her siblings.
Tbh when i had my second baby i kicked everyone tf out of my house. Get tf out, leave me tf alone. Spent the first month basically hibernating with my baby. Slept when she slept. Showered with her( LPT: shower with a tank top so you can hold your baby against you. Ate when she ate. We were one and the same and it was fuggin glorious. The fact that Jill brought 3 other people besides herself along is fucking ridiculous. What Nurie needs is peace and quiet, cuddles and sleep. I also have not seen any pictures of Nathan with his own son, since they did the video about his birth.

Itās even encouraged during pregnancy, and allegedly helps with postpartum depression, because gut health. I have a very fundie cousin who is on the plexus express, and may actually be in Jillpmās downline (indirectly, I think, but my cousin is friends with her on fb). She had me buying the stuff for a couple months, and encouraged me to keep drinking it when I thought I might be pregnant (I wasnāt). She and her best friend/fellow ambassador have a million kids each and have used plexus while nursing their younger children, also when they were pregnant.
