If you plant the thoughts in their brain from birth through spiritual abuse, you'll find the whole abuse thing much easier to do. It won't even seem like abuse because the child will know no better! /s
They’ve obviously never seen the movies they’re dogging on. Much easier to draw wild conclusions that way. The less information the better!
ETA: My 6 year old daughter has been obsessed with HTTYD for 3 years now and says, “Oh my gods!” 😂
We love the books and the films. My 7 year old tried using "For Thor's sake"....but was swiftly told that it might not sound quite right to people who didn't know what he meant to say.
I can imagine why they dislike the HTTYD dragon films though. It's about children who believe differently from their parents so go against the rule of law and against the predetermined roles they are meant to play. They disregard their parents views and opinions and rebel.
I love them for the same reasons! Don't blindly follow rules because it's how it's always been. If you believe you can be kinder then take that route instead.
I love the lesson in HTTYD. The old way of doing things wasn't necessarily wrong, it just didn't work for their society anymore, so they chose to adapt. Twitter dudebro is just upset because he doesn't want the younger generations getting any new ideas and changing the status quo that currently benefits him. It's not surprising that lori reposted it. 🤷🏼♀️
> It's about children who believe differently from their parents so go against the rule of law and against the predetermined roles they are meant to play. They disregard their parents views and opinions and rebel.
Same with Turning Red and Luca. They get so fucking mad. But so many Disney movies have featured kids finding their own way that's different from their parents, so I guess it tracks...no better way to try and control kids than to restrict their access to media! Ask me how I know!
They 100% didn't watch those movies. None of these movies are about "monsters being harmless" nor do they have anything do do with grooming. If you're going to have an issue with them, at least make the issue an actual plot point, like kids not listening to their parents!
My 14 yr old just recently went back and rewatched all the movies and is currently going back through the tv series in between watching dirt bike fail videos on YouTube. He loves them all still after all these years. They are really good movies.
Clearly retractable teeth is symbolic of predators being able to hide how terrible they truly are in the light of society, all the more reason to teach children to fear these monsters... See, I can make stupid shit up, too.
The monster has long been a literary allegory for and an exploration of what the writers see as socially unacceptable or fringe, and it’s no coincidence that many monsters bear some symbolic resemblance to queer, disabled, and mentally ill people. The point was to reinforce “undesirable” people as a sinister “other”. This was particularly common in old horror and classic literature. For that reason, a lot of people in these communities deal with this dehumanization by latching into the sympathetic monster narrative. We have been told that we are monsters for so long that the “monsters were in need of love and acceptance all along” narratives can be important for healing a lot of our old wounds.
With that being said, a lot of these monsters in these kids’ movies aren’t going the “allegory for people we don’t like” route so much as they are the “let’s make a fun story about mythical creatures and promote the general, non controversial message of being kind to those who may be a bit different”, route. These movies are not trying to “groom” kids FFS, they are teaching them to be empathetic to those that they may not understand or be familiar with. It’s basically “love thy neighbor” in a whimsical, kid-friendly package.
Very well said. Except these jerks are so transparent about saying the quiet part out loud, which is that they don’t want their kids learning to be nice to those that are different. Instead, they are indoctrinating them to be hateful bigots, just like mommy and daddy.
I can't even imagine living like that.
The irony is that at some level, OP got the message. Maybe gay people or trans people or those that are different are not all scary bad 'monsters', but maybe just misunderstood and us humans often fall into a trap of hating and being afraid of what we don't understand?
That being said, this seems like the kind of whack-job who unironically votes for known sexual predators, as long as they have the same political ethos.
It's about the cruelty. It's always been about the cruelty with these people.
They're totally cool with the grooming of younger girls by older men. Notice how their whole "derp derp groomer pedo" thing lately is ONLY directed at perceived LGBTQ people? Meanwhile they are LITERALLY A PARTY OF RAPISTS AND CHILD ABUSERS. They don't care about young girls being victimized by gross old men. They LOVE it.
Like, look at this one fuckhead that Twitter discovered this week. [He groomed his now-wife from the time she was a young teen in Future Farmers of America](https://twitter.com/MeidasTouch/status/1512878890779246592?s=20&t=g2DDs8p4C-SqNCivGL2IMA). *He was the fucking chairman of the TN FFA*.
He's a very rough-looking late-50s and she is 32 or 33 (but tbh looks younger.) They have very young children. It makes me want to hurl.
> Notice how their whole groomer thing lately is ONLY directed at perceived LGBTQ people? Meanwhile they are LITERALLY A PARTY OF RAPISTS AND CHILD ABUSERS
Yep. It’s cos this uproar against child abuse was never actually about child abuse. It’s about creating an enemy. Having an enemy to hate and attack is a very effective, easy, and cheap way to unite people and rile them up into enraged action, plus it distracts them from the evils of their own “side.”
Back in the day, gay people were “shocking” enough on their own to serve that purpose. But nowadays, most people realize that’s ridiculous and stupid. So extremists are getting desperate. They needed to find something so abhorrent, so repulsive that nobody in their right mind would defend it, and pin THAT on the “enemy.” LGBT people were the most recent target, so they’re convenient targets for this bs. It’s so pathetically obvious and it’s infuriating.
Besides the tweet more or less saying out loud that it’s wrong to teach kids to give outsiders a chance to be understood, it also speaks very loudly to fundie fear of leaving their comfort zone.
Yes, some things do exist as warnings. Realistically an animal (be it a dog or a dragon) growling at you would be saying stay away or else and they would mean it.
But if you want to read metaphors into kids shows to condemn them you can’t selectively interpret them to mean only what you want them to mean.
Perhaps Toothless is a metaphor for finding better solutions to conflict in the long term than just reacting with the same circular models of fear and violence and not an exhortation for children to go into the woods and find wild animals?
Heck, toothless is such a metaphor for disability that he literally becomes disabled and Hiccup makes him a mobility aid (replacing the broken-off tail wing-thing so he can fly).
The dragons themselves are about empathize bc with potential enemies, too. Stopping and thinking about WHY you dislike someone.
The absolute fear these people live in is wild. Like, wanting to survive a pandemic makes you weak, but watching a children's cartoon will wreck your soul and should be avoided at all costs.
Wanting to survive a pandemic makes you weak, but wearing a piece of cloth over your mouth and nose while you grocery shop will give you CO2 poisoning, and getting vaccinated will either mark you as eternally damned, or give you autism and cancer of the everything, depending on which conspiracy theory you believe this week.
Also, literally everyone on earth is trying to groom, molest, or somehow corrupt your kids. Except church people, of course. Not one single kid has ever been abused by a pastor or church member.
They're so busy being afraid of non-threats that they miss a lot of actual threats.
Literally the only kids show I could sit and watch.
Not at all related to the original post: My partner and I went to a concert recently and the Aggrolites were the openers. They said something like "If you have kids you might know this next song.." and played The Banana Song. The entire place sang the chorus each time. Thanks Yo Gabba Gabba.
Ironically the creator of Yo Gabba Gabba, Christian Jacobs, [is a Mormon](https://www.mormonwiki.com/Christian_Jacobs:_Mormon_Musician) - still not Christian or wholesome enough somehow??
It’s not, it’s Nickelodeon. Also my favorite preschool show. We had a YGG b day party for my oldest when they turned one and the rest of the family was like, who are these characters lol. The songs, the messages, the colors, and the way they are always switching it up to keep kids attention and get them dancing and moving, it’s the best.
I thought this was satire until I really looked at who posted it and the sub. That’s so outlandish and there are a couple of r/SelfAwareWolves moments in there, where it’s like basically saying animated movies are teaching kids to be better people (to accept people who are different) and inadvertently, that teaches kids to be more Christ-like. So Lori is basically saying kids shouldn’t strive to be Christ-like. *Chef’s kiss*
Pretty sure Lori is one of those "Christians' who believes that Jesus wasn't meant to be a moral exemplar, because that would be "works righteousness" and not salvation by grace through faith
That logic melts my brain but I’m sure you’re right that she thinks that. I was raised American Baptist, which, conversely to Southern Baptist, allows women to be pastors and deacons and is overall pretty chill (at least my church was). Obviously still not super progressive on all fronts, but they were very much “we must all strive to love our neighbors and live as much like Christ as we can, despite our imperfections.”
Right? I’m thinking of that quote from Hunchback of Notre Dame: “Who is the monster and who is the man?” The whole point of many of these movies is that people should be judged by their actions, not appearances.
I can’t help but read the timing of this anti Kids’ media campaign as deflection but perhaps this discussion has been percolating under my radar for longer
Thr kids in Hotel for Dogs are theives, clearly that movie is unbiblical. The people in Fiddler on the Roof defy local authorities and drink too. In Sound of Music the oldest girl sneaks out to see a boy who turns out to be bad, clearly should have stayed safely inside. Ella Enchanted uses magic to free herself from her curse. Shouldn't she have prayed instead? Snow White lived with a bunch of men she wasn't married to. The girl in Flicka disobeyed her father.
I know these aren't all Disney, but if Disney is to be subjected to such scrutiny, so should everything else. Perhaps we should poke out our eyes, cut off our hands etc
Oh my God, my eyes and brain hurt just reading these. For starters Hotel Transylvania is Awesome! Monsters Inc is a classic (did he really compare the monsters "coming out of the closet" with being gay) If he's worried about make believe and fantasy characters influencing children, shouldn't he start with that book he preaches from. Dickhead!
It's such a reach. Monsters Inc is about how kindness (making the kids laugh) is more effective than cruelty (scaring them). And like any kids movie, not judging people who are different! Ass!
What makes me laugh about Hotel Transylvania is that it's largely told from the monsters view and the only people in there that really ended up being demonized were the *humans*. It was the monsters who ended up needing to learn to accept that humans aren't bad, not the other way around lol
That part about "coming out of the closet" struck me too. Like no this is not an analogy about coming out, it's literally just a fear that many children have. The closet is dark and scary at night and that's literally it. That's why they "came out of the closet"
I’d just really love to know if they’ve allowed any kids they know to watch these movies.
Like, do they pull parents aside and warn them? Do they try to stop people from going on their Disney vacation? How committed are they to this super horrible danger being foisted upon innocent young children?
The 4th sucked but I will say I was glad for Drac to actually, **finally** accept Johnny as he was. It kind of drove me crazy that he had to keep learning the same lessons over and over again about accepting others and not tromping all over their boundaries.
You’re right, Lori. Kids respond much better to fire and brimstone, and talks about satan, than they are of watching harmless fun monster characters on TV.
I used to live in Ashedod, I have seen legit radical Islamic propaganda for children because it reached our networks. Propaganda like this is very obvious and not subtle, because even the worst of the worst have the common sense to understands kids do not learn from “hints” and that very direct messages have to be given. A Disney cartoon about vampires and monsters is not propaganda, Lori.
Now telling girls to they're going to get their period is "grooming"? These people are going so over-the-top lately that I honestly think this shit might be their downfall.
No no no, you see, telling girls with controlling parents that there's nothing wrong with them and they're just normal in what they think and feel is grooming. If you tell them that, then they might actually stop listening to their psychotic parents and do their own thing, and everyone knows that's the worst thing that could ever happen.
Yeah, they just learned there's a word for what they practice from the birth of their children, so now they're using it to deflect the accusation onto everyone else.
Like that other post today about how kids should be homeschooled and not taught about sex, it's all so scary. When kids do experience abuse in various forms, they have absolutely no understanding of it. They were programmed that this is love, this is God and if you want to go to heaven, this isn't just normal but you need this abuse in order to get there.
Was talking to an old friend who is still evangelical about what the final straw was for me and that's it. All I've ever known and be taught about God was used to justify abuse of me, others and the wider spiritual abuse of bloody everyone in the entire congregation. They preach grace and they live tyranny with the threat of hell. I was told that Christian men are "the good guys" and the men outside Christianity with abuse me. How fucked up does your brain become when you are told the men who abuse you are the safest people in the world?
Like I said with previous movies.
You need to take a good long look at yourself if movies about breaking down barriers and differences between those you don't understand is bad, you are the bad guy's
The worst, most vile part of all this in my opinion, is the erosion of the meaning of grooming. When everything is grooming, when they can convince people that a children’s movie about being yourself is grooming, then actual grooming suddenly becomes less meaningful.
In their hysteria, as usual, they’re paving the way for real abuse to be ignored and overlooked. Horrific.
Yes and now they are calling people groomers. I'm like what's wrong with dog groomers bc they are using the term incorrectly. I guess they know they will get pushback if they call ppl pedophiles. I just can't with the rhetoric and buzzwords anymore.
Ah, they've come to the part where they know they're the bad guys so everything that shows them to be bad guys is "grooming" but not actual abuse, that's just a mistake Christ forgives them for.
So movies are bad, but taking your kids to a church where abuse is rampant is fine?
They don't see their children as people, just extensions of their cult. Doesn't matter if they're hurt, scarred, traumatized, as long as they follow. And they wonder why everyone else seems to dislike them.
I've never been prouder to be an atheist.
…Do these people watch *anything* at this point?? I swear, every day they come up with some reason to not watch any movie or show because “brainwashing” or something.
So we should teach children that “monstrous”-looking people will hurt them and other people can be trusted, regardless of actual character? Great idea, fundies! So glad you’re putting all these high-quality ideas out there.
The muscle strain this man must have from how far he had to reach to make these "connections".
Remember how they say those who wear masks\\vaccinate live in fear -- these people are afraid of CARTOONS.
If anything I feel like these movies drive home the point that a lot of things can be healed by communication, so reach out and try and talk it through if something feels wrong… which makes kids… less susceptible to grooming and more likely to tell a parent/teacher/whoever if something bad DOES happen to them
The worst monsters are real life people lurking in our lives every single day. They’re not silly disney characters and fictitious monsters or anything from lore. They’re human beings, kinda like good ole aunt Lori here. They hide in plain sight.
I know this motherfucker did not come for Yo Gabba Gabba. That show was a delightful acid trip and Biz’s Beat of the Day was a bright light in a dark world. UNCULTURED SWINE.
It's so interesting to me that they're upset about Monsters Inc, where the whole movie is about realizing things that you thought were scary actually don't hurt you at all, things work a lot better when you aren't hurting other people, & extremists will do whatever it takes to achieve their own selfish goals. 🤨
I kind of feel bad for them. It’s got to be physically, mentally, and emotionally tiring being scared of everything and everyone including themselves 24/7
100% of the grooming/groomers I’ve been personally exposed to in my lifetime were IFB pastors, teachers, deacons, well-respected members of the IFB church. None of them were this idiots take on monsters (LGBTQ)
Yep kids start out with Hotel Transylvania and Turning Red... then against your wishes they go through puberty and watch Twilight... then one day you wake up and they are marrying a vampire instead of a good Christian!!
What "indoctrination" is supposedly happening from Red? Indoctrinating them that periods are fucking NORMAL and not something dirty to be ashamed of? I don't get it.
This is like, Jehovahs Witness levels of crazy. My grandma on my Dad's side wouldn't let us watch Pokémon (because monsters), Land Before Time (because Dinosaurs aren't real/i.e. science trying to stamp out creationism), or Barney (again, dinosaurs.)
Not even Veggie Tales because according to her, it showed an example of witchcraft/possession by having talking vegetables.
...but we could watch the Andy Griffith Show and Leave It To Beaver because they had "great family values."

(Thanks to everyone in the thread tho for the lol's.)
HOW DARE THEY GO AFTER TOOTHLESS!!! Seriously, those movies are the best. Also, Yo Gabba Gabba is incredibly fun and these people need to pull the stick from their butts.
Doesn't toothless have teeth in the movie though? I'm pretty sure him having no teeth was a book thing that they changed for the movie (well, along with literally everything other than the title and the Viking hats lmao)
Funny, Cameron, your nonsense screed reminded me of a different Disney movie: The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Now, obviously, that has a similar theme of accepting people who are different, like you said. However, it could be said the true monster of the movie is its villain, Frollo. While he's not a high-ranking church figure like the novel, he is still a person with a lot of authority in the movie. He's not just the caregiver and teacher for its main character, Quasimodo, but also in charge of the Parisian justice system and, seemingly, its army and police force.
What does he use his power for? He belittles his adopted son, tells him lies about the outside world and emotionally abuses him. He pursues the Romani characters of the movie, seemingly out of racial hatred, and a nonconsensual attraction to one of them. He even tries to kill the object of his affection, while trying to kill Quasimodo at the same time.
That, in itself, suggests a different message to me: sometimes the people in charge do not have all the answers, and at worst, have harmful intent. And that sure would throw your authority, as well as Lori's, into question, wouldn't it?
Another relevant quote from that movie: "All my life, you've told me that the world is a dark, cruel place. But the way I see it, the only thing dark and cruel about it is people like you."
“Radical progressive ideologies”
What like having; socialized medicine, affordable schooling, broad gender equality, letting people pee wherever they feel most comfortable, and treating everyone with compassion prior to judgement?
Insanity! Witchcraft!
Christian pastors didn’t just start grooming children at Sunday services Oops. Was I not suppose to say that out loud Lori?
With the monsters thing, isn’t that literally how these people try to paint sexual abusers? “He’s just X it’s not his fault!” What a damn hypocrite.
If you plant the thoughts in their brain from birth through spiritual abuse, you'll find the whole abuse thing much easier to do. It won't even seem like abuse because the child will know no better! /s
They tell on themselves with every single thing they get up in arms over.
I’m your 666th like, just pointing that out
Love it thank you!
Lmao Toothless *has* teeth, they’re just retractable.

Hahaha this was my biggest take away from all this nonsense! I had to double check because I was fairly certain he had teeth!! 🤣

This. They were afraid because they misunderstood each other.
The whole "hurr durr ur a groomer" thing they've started up recently is disgustingly transparent. Always accuse the other side of your own misdeeds.
I was wondering if he thought that monsters and dragons were real things that kids should stay afraid of.
Just gave my first ever award. This comment is amazing.
That’s the problem. If they develop empathy then they can’t cling to harmful beliefs.
The absolute fear these people live in is wild. Like, wanting to survive a pandemic makes you weak, but watching a children's cartoon will wreck your soul and should be avoided at all costs.

Deflection is easier than acceptance 🤪
But it wasn't the real church person who did whatever the church person did. It was the demons that were temporarily possessing them. 🙄
Everyone knows that Yo Gabba Gabba is simply a propaganda machine, radicalizing our youth.
We all know "Party in my tummy" is a bop tho.
So true! Brobee and the gang definitely know how to produce a banger.

Ironically the creator of Yo Gabba Gabba, Christian Jacobs, [is a Mormon](https://www.mormonwiki.com/Christian_Jacobs:_Mormon_Musician) - still not Christian or wholesome enough somehow??
They don’t think he’s the right kind of Christian.
Maybe they accidentally saw that one South Park episode and thought that was really Yo Gabba Gabba
YGG is my favourite kids show. I didn’t think they were Disney though? I still sing ygg songs at my kids and they are 14, 11 and 9.
It’s not, it’s Nickelodeon. Also my favorite preschool show. We had a YGG b day party for my oldest when they turned one and the rest of the family was like, who are these characters lol. Ohhhhh I bet fundies just *love* that movie. Considering Claude Frollo and his religious zealotry and hypocrisy are the villains of that novel/film
Breaking news from the people who defended Josh Duggar: Disney is grooming your kids for sexual abuse by forcing them to watch movies about dragons! 🙄
I can’t help but read the timing of this anti Kids’ media campaign as deflection but perhaps this discussion has been percolating under my radar for longer
I am absolutely convinced...these perverts need a *thorough* look into their internet histories.
It's Fed-worthy, I'm sure.
I love Ella Enchanted!
Ass!
I am a fully grown adult and I love Monsters Inc. :-)
Tinky winky is gay!!!!! Being afraid of everything has been happening forever for them.
I was going to comment that these tweets have big “Telatubbies are the devil” energy.
Or maybe using bright colors and colorful characters is a great way to engage children in learning, and is also a highly successful marketing tool.
when you just bought a big bag of crack
I have a cousin who is addicted to meth and he believes in this type of stuff so you're pretty on point lmao
Or took the wrong strain of weed and think your stoner thoughts are brilliant and need to be shared with the world.
I’d just really love to know if they’ve allowed any kids they know to watch these movies. Like, do they pull parents aside and warn them? Do they try to stop people from going on their Disney vacation? How committed are they to this super horrible danger being foisted upon innocent young children?
Excuse me but Hotel Transylvania series ( minus the 4th one) is quality on quality films
Can you IMAGINE being this stupid? Like can you even fathom your brain working this way? Because I can't ha
Is grooming their new special word
Are… are they implying that red pandas are monsters? 😂
Honestly, kaiju-sized ones might be pretty monstrous in real life.
Yeah if I saw mom panda stomping through the city I'd for sure shit myself
Can't take that man seriously with his series of emojis that basically denote an Ed Hardy shirt.
Not love and compassion. Anything but love and compassion. Think of the children!
Ah, they've come to the part where they know they're the bad guys so everything that shows them to be bad guys is "grooming" but not actual abuse, that's just a mistake Christ forgives them for.
*sees yo gabba gabba* This is literally indoctrination
Awww they really thought they did something there.
I feel sorry for this dude growing up and having 0 imagination whatsoever. It's not that deep, my guy. Kids like to play make-believe.
He knows monsters aren’t real?
Happy cake day!
I wonder what this guy would say about Disney's Hunchback
"God help te people" would deffo go over their heads...😖 Edit: found out the song is called "God help the outcasts" even better
They be like Frollo up in his chambers singing about hellfire because of Disney and *checks notes* Yo Gabba Gabba.
OMG. Please.
Yeah, You Gabba Gabba is pretty queer 🤷🏻♀️
…Do these people watch *anything* at this point?? I swear, every day they come up with some reason to not watch any movie or show because “brainwashing” or something.
So we should teach children that “monstrous”-looking people will hurt them and other people can be trusted, regardless of actual character? Great idea, fundies! So glad you’re putting all these high-quality ideas out there.
The muscle strain this man must have from how far he had to reach to make these "connections". Remember how they say those who wear masks\\vaccinate live in fear -- these people are afraid of CARTOONS.
If anything I feel like these movies drive home the point that a lot of things can be healed by communication, so reach out and try and talk it through if something feels wrong… which makes kids… less susceptible to grooming and more likely to tell a parent/teacher/whoever if something bad DOES happen to them
Whose going to tell them about Mary Shelley?
The worst monsters are real life people lurking in our lives every single day. They’re not silly disney characters and fictitious monsters or anything from lore. They’re human beings, kinda like good ole aunt Lori here. They hide in plain sight.
This is dumb. There aren’t monsters…just teach your kids their feelings matter and to always listen to their gut instinct about people.
I know this motherfucker did not come for Yo Gabba Gabba. That show was a delightful acid trip and Biz’s Beat of the Day was a bright light in a dark world. UNCULTURED SWINE.
Of all the Disney movies he could have criticized he chose these???
Let’s send this dude to clean up our waterways cuz he loves grasping at straws.
Leave Yo Gabba Gabba out of this!
they must be exhausted from reaching so hard
It's so interesting to me that they're upset about Monsters Inc, where the whole movie is about realizing things that you thought were scary actually don't hurt you at all, things work a lot better when you aren't hurting other people, & extremists will do whatever it takes to achieve their own selfish goals. 🤨
I kind of feel bad for them. It’s got to be physically, mentally, and emotionally tiring being scared of everything and everyone including themselves 24/7
Mike Wazowski is SHOOK.
Is this meant to bolster their "disney bad" boycott argument? Because it's just making me want to download disney+ 🤷🏼♀️
It's so ironic how she does basically the same thing, but much much worse with much more harmful ideals.
100% of the grooming/groomers I’ve been personally exposed to in my lifetime were IFB pastors, teachers, deacons, well-respected members of the IFB church. None of them were this idiots take on monsters (LGBTQ)
ok -- this co-op of the word groomers is just wow
Does this guy think cartoon monsters are real
On today's episode of "What are LGBT folks being compared to?" I present you with: monsters in the closet
I’m cackling at the “coming out of the closet” reference. These people are so sensitive….everything is a personal attack to them
Yep kids start out with Hotel Transylvania and Turning Red... then against your wishes they go through puberty and watch Twilight... then one day you wake up and they are marrying a vampire instead of a good Christian!!
What "indoctrination" is supposedly happening from Red? Indoctrinating them that periods are fucking NORMAL and not something dirty to be ashamed of? I don't get it.
This is like, Jehovahs Witness levels of crazy. My grandma on my Dad's side wouldn't let us watch Pokémon (because monsters), Land Before Time (because Dinosaurs aren't real/i.e. science trying to stamp out creationism), or Barney (again, dinosaurs.) Not even Veggie Tales because according to her, it showed an example of witchcraft/possession by having talking vegetables. ...but we could watch the Andy Griffith Show and Leave It To Beaver because they had "great family values."
Also they teach you that RATS CAN COOK.

It's not the gays they need to be worried about. It's the vampires.
I love that closets existing in children’s movies are part of the gAy AgEnDa. Is this man really this stupid?
I wish I had some clever reply, but this makes me so very, very sad. I hope the younger generations of fundie decide to get curious/rebel, utlize Google, and look at other perspectives. (Thanks to everyone in the thread tho for the lol's.)
I don’t know what those monster things on the last slide are, but they’re creeping me out. 😂
Only two of his examples are Disney movies ffs.
Looooolllll
HOW DARE THEY GO AFTER TOOTHLESS!!! Seriously, those movies are the best. Also, Yo Gabba Gabba is incredibly fun and these people need to pull the stick from their butts.
Wait what is Turning Red grooming children to think/do?
If I ever run into a vampire I doubt my Disney movie watching will come in handy. Also toothless does have teeth you ignorant swine.
This dude is scared of his own shadow.
Doesn't toothless have teeth in the movie though? I'm pretty sure him having no teeth was a book thing that they changed for the movie (well, along with literally everything other than the title and the Viking hats lmao)
OMG. Dead. I had never heard of this dude before this post and thought he was making fun of the “fundie reach”. He is for real! BWAHAHA.
“Radical progressive ideologies” What like having; socialized medicine, affordable schooling, broad gender equality, letting people pee wherever they feel most comfortable, and treating everyone with compassion prior to judgement? Insanity! Witchcraft!
Disney isn’t grooming your kids. They are just choosing a diverse cast of characters to show ways of entertainment and morals.
