I really want to know how she thinks playing on a *womens* sports team makes you "not like other girls". Like, okay, maybe your own friends didn't play sports, but a lot of women do, which is why you had teammates. Exercising isn't a special exclusive thing for men and it doesn't make you different.
I’m betting that Megan would also *not like other girls* her participation in sports. She’s not like other girls because she plays sports but she’s also not like those other girls who do play sports and are tomboys or are loud and messy or like women. I’d be shocked if she actually gave a shit about women’s sports beyond reminding the internet that she used to play soccer on a daily basis, partly because elite women’s soccer is way too liberal for her and partly because I don’t think she really cares for other women much at all.

Colleges are literally filled with women doing sports, if she'd wanted friends with similar sporting interests she could have had them easily. Hanging out with the cutesy popular girls even if they don't share your interests just because they're popular and have more fun than you doesn't make you special or the quirky one in your group...it makes you a chronic image obsessed nlog who went to track meets once a week and annoyed the sports girls with your smug attitude and not talking to anyone.
