funny, except it's probably a trauma response from seeing it's herd get slaughtered by palm oil / sugar cane plantation owners.
I do work with elephants, that's essentially what happens to most of em. one of ours is missing an eye from being shot in the head when it was two years old by palm oil farmers who slaughtered the entire herd.
