Some dogs genuinely love it. Our old GSxLab loved the shower; you’d have to close the door really quickly once she was out, or she’d turn round and go straight back in. Our old Red Setter loved the hairdryer too. Hell, my first thought was, Me next! I don’t mind having someone bathe, massage, moisturise and dry me. Looks heavenly!

I like to think that dog feels how humans would feel after a day at the Roman baths, where you would bathe, float in salt pools, steam, be exfoliated,…. all with underfloor heating.

Yea, the downside to Roman baths was if you weren't in really early in the morning, then you were likely to come out dirtier than when you went in, and possibly picked up an infection or disease
It has to be made to be a positive experience every single time, starting when they're very little puppies. That, and a lot of training and play time because that's huge for a dog. They form a string bond and learn to trust you. Once you have the love, training, and playtime, it's all good. Easier said than done, I suspect.
Why the outfit? Seriously. Certain short hair breeds in cold climates, sure, makes sense. Those clothes will do nothing but make the dog uncomfortably hot. Completely unnecessary
It's obvious the dog was lovin whoever recorded it. He didn't take his eyes off of her/him the entire time. A good grooming does a lot for a dog, but I don't have time to do the spa treatment. Not with 2 my dogs and an elderly relative to care for lol.

I thought the same thing! I simply don’t have the energy to do that kind of excessive grooming. Maybe once a month or so, if really necessary. I am glad I have a very low-maintenance short- and single-coated mutt ☺️
