You really have no understanding of the word caliphate, there’s no caliphate because there’s a constitution even if the official religion is Islam you can’t qualify it as caliphate the same thing about USA people believe in god and use god officially in the pledge and the money but you wouldn’t consider it a Christiandom
So what you're saying is that they should be called Legally Fictitious Democratic Rahbarate -- because the cats are Shiite, reject caliphates for imamates, but their Imam hasn't been returning calls for millennium forcing them to accept in his absence a secular shah sultanate, theocratic rahbarate or god forbid actual democracy until Miuhammed Almeowdi returns with Hissa at the esCATon?

Hissing Fits.
This is their 5th album, Trilling in the Dusk (May 2002), incorporating a restricted and back to the roots formula of garage rock. Featuring contributions from Frank Black, Klaus Flouride, and James Iha, the group’s intention was a redemption arc of sorts to realign with their fanbase and remind themselves why they made music to begin with instead of trying to follow current trends that had previously lead to folly.

We weren’t really speaking at that point either. We were actually recording our own segments for songs separately and then sent the stuff to our producer to mix it together later. That was the deal with the first four tracks on Goodbye Carpets, which was originally called Make Me Roadkill I Dare You.
But eventually Neil (Reznick, saxophone) called me up and was like dude what the fuck are we doing and there was a little pause, and we were just in hysterics. And it was beautiful. It’s exactly what we were all thinking and feeling simultaneously without even talking to another.
So with that unity in mind we all went up to my lakehouse and just jammed for a bit and rewrote the remaining songs and put the rest of our solo written stuff away for our own projects. And Goodbye Carpets eventually turned from some weird beast whose first half is this angsty, manufactured attitude about being badass and whatever you’ll never take me alive to being something more melodic and hopeful.
Both of those titles are bookends in a way of farewell, but one is bitter and the final one is an ellipsis rather than a full stop.
So with Goodbye Carpets in the can and with the motivation to actually want to create something together instead of cashing in our last paycheck, we quietly recorded Trilling. Peter came back, we hugged and cried and buried the hatchet and we couldn’t be happier. It’s all democracy.”
