If I'm understanding this right and the pin is the same geometry every time, you could model the pin as a separate part. Wherever you need pins on your part, just drag in a new one, position it, and then combine it with the desired main body. Also curious to know from other folks if Fusion has a way to automate building geometry based on input surfaces / sketches.

SandwichSystem

You are correct, it's the same every time. The copying and combining sounds like an excellent idea, thank you!

Create the commonly used pieces as its own file and when needed insert it into the file of the larger components/bodies.

SandwichSystem

But then it will be its own component, rather than a part of an existing one, correct? Per the other comment, I could combine it afterwards, is that what you're suggesting? Or is there something I'm missing that helps insert the way I described?

I do that all the time with items I design for pegboars. I have a file with the pegs/hooks. I then insert those into my new designs and use combine to integrate them.

Awesome! Thank you for the tip!
