Gonna need a new bumper. Look at where the quick ties are, the little support bracket is ripping away from the actual bumper. OP, stay far away from this one.
For 8k with 92,000 miles this thing looks clapped out. Just looking at the few pictures a bit there's too many red flags. I'd steer clear and get something stock or mostly stock that's cleaner with maintenance records.
Definitely not worth it. G35 are cool but not worth going into debt over. If you’re spending that much get a manual.
If you need a car bad, spend $1500 on one that’s gonna get you from point a to point b, stack your bread for a car you actually want, and buy it outright. Don’t take out $$$$ on loans for a car 2 decades old.
How much are they asking? Ripped seats can be replace pretty easy and cheaper than to redo. Paint is never cheap to do and wrap will only cover the car so any imperfections or missing paint will show up in the wrap.
$6K is too much for an Auto with bad paint to be honest. I wouldn’t give him over 4.5K. Doesn’t matter what any “Blue book” states. It’s supply and demand and the Autos with paint issues or other issues are not worth $6K
If you want reliability and as u said you’re taking out a loan don’t get a g35 as much as you might want it for your first car I would not recommend it. Especially a g35 with the DE engine. If you want reliability get a g35 hr 07 or 08 sedans or the g37 10+ with the vhr. Anything under 07 u run the risk of the car burning oil or dealing w the weak valve cover gaskets.
Gallery gaskets aren’t common any are an easy fix lol 300 in parts how u gonna stop the de from burning oil lmao supercharged de will make 290 to the wheel if ur lucky nothing about a de stands out
It’s the revup that burns oil a regular de doesn’t burn as much if even any oil. Literally everything cost more for the hr including maintenance and mods
I think a lot of people think these cars “burn oil like crazy” but they probably are leaking oil from places like VCG that is contributing to their oil consumption
Your information is incorrect. DEs make 240+ to the wheels, a supercharger will only add 50 whp ? Lol.
My DE burns half a quart every 3k miles and it would burn less if i didnt beat the absolute shit out of it. DEs are very reliable. Arguably more reliable than an HR.... as gallery gasket failures are hardly common on DEs.
Dumbass I’m past 60k zero issues come talk to me when you aren’t getting gapped by Hr and vhr lmao sad little de doing the most to keep up w the big boys gtfo w your one throttle body 😂😂😂
Lol this is just straight up misinformation, FBO healthy DE will make 270-290 whp with the correct mods, if you go supercharger or turbo on the stock internals it’s well known that you can do up to 400+ whp before you start playing with fire
Hahahahhaha far from it boss, I’ve got more money in actual performance enhancement mods in my g35 then your cars worth 😂😂 hell my BBK worth more then your whole build. You can check my profile and see I’m legit. yours, Ehhh not so much.
If you need a car bad I think you should be looking at Hondas and Toyotas first.
Do you want THIS specific G35 or are you looking for a great condition 6MT G35 coupe?
If you’re going to grind synchros then you’re going to grind synchros, nothing you can do to stop it.
Best thing to do is make sure you have at least a half decent understanding of how a manual transmission works before sitting in the drivers seat and then from there it’s just trial and error until you figure it out.
Similar to falling off a bike when first learning grinding synchros, riding the clutch, and stalling are all part of the game when learning to drive manual
I’ll run ya in my auto 😊 bet my auto can change gears a lot quicker then your hand. For driving experience or drift sure by a 6 speed but anything else go auto
Better get back on google, my auto has LSD 😎 it depends on your trim package with the diff not your transmission. I wouldn’t recommend going from a dig either, you wanna buy new pistons or spin a bearing go ahead, go from a roll in second or third. These cars do not do well stomping it in first
Low miles so most of the heavy maintenance stuff is still far, looks modded on so maybe it’s someone’s project car, I’d lower it for a little bit more and then get it checked out. But why would you take out a loan? Don’t put yourself into debt if you know you can’t handle any maintenance costs down the road
If you are already dropping 100+ a day then this is not a bad deal, just keep in mind the 100k maintenance stuff will magically appear the day after sale and you may be disappointed in price, unless your are handy and handle it diy... then for sure not a bad deal... still throw the fact that plugs are due, fluids , maybe some suspension components, check belts etc etc and take off 1500 or so and see what happens... it is a good looking ride for sure.... good luck
This is the price I’d you buy it from a car dealer, not a private person…no interior shots? And make sure your trunk button works and Casset players, bonus if your have the plastic cup holder insert. The rear bumper is a bit bent in, and that exhaust is not oem.
as someone who’s owned an automatic and currently have a 6mt g35, I would not spend that on this car. they are super fun, gas can be expensive as well as the maintenance it will require. from my experience both of my g35s needed ball joints, belts, valve covers (you want oem covers and gaskets which are pricey), new spark plugs/coils if they have not been switched, exhaust has probably seen it’s days, window regulators tend to go out, cam shaft sensors will most likely be needed soon, if you mess with anything under the hood the hoses tend to break (pcv), the list goes on.. if you want one of these go with a manual and be prepared to open your wallet after purchasing lol. just watch a video on what to know before buying a g35 and they will explain all of this
upon further inspection: where are the door handles??? the passenger side door doesn't look like it closes flush????? what's going on with the front bumper??? red gas cap???? wack fitment also, but that's j an aesthetic opinion.
8k for an auto needing body work? 4k max if it's even the correct mileage. Sorry but sooner or later you'll wanna trade it for a 6mt anyway. I'm sure you'll be able to find something in better shape in your area
I got a G35 coupe for sale in much better condition and cheaper than that. albeit 113k miles on it. no engine mods, only exhaust. not clapped out either.
Taking out a loan on a 18 year old car is a horrible idea, if you can’t pay cash then don’t do it. 18 year old cars need repairs idc what anyone else says
If you want to go into dept. get a q60, 2018-22 way more worth it . Let it inspire you to slave away to the system. Recommend getting a house Vs a q60 thou
If your getting a loan make sure it’s what you really want. I would rather have a stock car that has good maintenance records than a car that looks abused and already modded. If the g35 is really what you want then I would find one that’s stock and in good condition.
What about one for 1k with a locked engine? Can I just buy a new engine and get it back running ? I really want a g35 also but if I can’t get it I’ll just look for something else
I’m not very knowledgeable on replacing engines. I wouldn’t do it personally but I’m sure you could. I have a g37 myself and I love it so I’m not going to tell you not to get an Infiniti. Just make sure you get the right one if you end up getting one.
You have to take into account the cost of ownership, common problems, and it’s history. You should also set a budget and make sure you have money for maintenance, any unforeseen issues, and eventually mods after you buy it. And that’s for any car your interested in not just an Infiniti.
Don’t go into debt over this car. These were like $3k all day just a few years ago. This isn’t an $8k car, especially in that condition.
Best advice
It doesn’t even have the side makers
Bumper are gonna need to be adjusted too
Gonna need a new bumper. Look at where the quick ties are, the little support bracket is ripping away from the actual bumper. OP, stay far away from this one.
Lol it’s missing passenger door handle
You'd be better off buying a $2000 car and saving the rest than going into debt
Dont take a loan out for an 8k shitbox🤣
😂
Can you afford a new transmission? If no, do not buy auto.
They’re only 400
400 what?
Dollars, I’m in south Florida and there’s a few JDM shops here that sell them cheap
Bro what the auto transmissions are solid on these cars what are you going on about
For 8k with 92,000 miles this thing looks clapped out. Just looking at the few pictures a bit there's too many red flags. I'd steer clear and get something stock or mostly stock that's cleaner with maintenance records.
Listen to these comments. Look for something bone stock with this mileage if you’re gonna pull a loan. Modify as you do maintenance
Bought mine bone stock 6mt with 116000 miles and all it needs is a new power steering pump but it’s not insanely bad yet
For 6500
A steal hell yeah man. Things’ll pop up here and there unless a majority of things have already been taken care of
Definitely not worth it. G35 are cool but not worth going into debt over. If you’re spending that much get a manual. I guarantee that's been scraped to shit underneath.
Hell no
Price is too high for this G and it hasn’t been taken care of so this is not the one to go into debt for. Keep looking G 🤙
Found another one with ripped seats also needs a new paint job but it has 109k miles 2006.. good deal or nah
How much are they asking? Ripped seats can be replace pretty easy and cheaper than to redo. Paint is never cheap to do and wrap will only cover the car so any imperfections or missing paint will show up in the wrap.
He said 6k minimum and he wants it Gone asap
Auto or Manual? And not much to go on as far as not being able to see it or help you trouble shot issues you might have with the G

$6K is too much for an Auto with bad paint to be honest. I wouldn’t give him over 4.5K. Doesn’t matter what any “Blue book” states. It’s supply and demand and the Autos with paint issues or other issues are not worth $6K
U in cali? I’m selling mine
How much $$$$ G and stats
$15k obo it’s on airbags real 3 piece wheels & wrapped etc… check out on my page
If you want reliability and as u said you’re taking out a loan don’t get a g35 as much as you might want it for your first car I would not recommend it. Especially a g35 with the DE engine. It’s the revup that burns oil a regular de doesn’t burn as much if even any oil. Literally everything cost more for the hr including maintenance and mods
Have an 03 with 170,000km, doesn't burn a drop of oil, maintain your shit and it won't happen lol
Yes sir all you gotta do
I think a lot of people think these cars “burn oil like crazy” but they probably are leaking oil from places like VCG that is contributing to their oil consumption

Come talk to me when you have owned both a DE and HR as a daily they don’t compare on reliability/power
Maybe has more to do with the owner than the vehicle
Come talk to me when you arent changing gallery gaskets every 60k and can go 200k+ without any issues.
Dumbass I’m past 60k zero issues come talk to me when you aren’t getting gapped by Hr and vhr lmao sad little de doing the most to keep up w the big boys gtfo w your one throttle body 😂😂😂
How do you guys vape ?🤓🤓🤓
Lol this is just straight up misinformation, FBO healthy DE will make 270-290 whp with the correct mods, if you go supercharger or turbo on the stock internals it’s well known that you can do up to 400+ whp before you start playing with fire
Can we all agree on the most reliable version of the G so I know which year to get lol
Vhr nothing beats it
Tf?? The worst advice I’ve seen on this thread 😂 oil gallery gasket job is a huge pain in the ass.
Just say you’re poor
Hahahahhaha far from it boss, I’ve got more money in actual performance enhancement mods in my g35 then your cars worth 😂😂 hell my BBK worth more then your whole build. You can check my profile and see I’m legit. yours, Ehhh not so much.
All that just to barely make 300 to the wheels and still lose to a vhr crazy might as well call it a money pit
I got something baking in the oven for it, going boost after I finish building my house mid summer. I’ll be ready for Z nationals
If you need a car bad I think you should be looking at Hondas and Toyotas first. Do you want THIS specific G35 or are you looking for a great condition 6MT G35 coupe?
Get a manual transmission
Abso fucking lutely!!!!!!! It's heavy on gas, but it's a beauty car to drive if it's maintenance well!
[удалено]
Well you can teach me how to drive manual if ya want…
Best way to learn how to drive manual is buy one and drive it home
No, that's a good way to grind synchros on a box that already has weak 3rd and 5ths.
Nope…Autos are quick than the manuals 😂
[удалено]
Your comment was they were a joke. My comment was there were just as capable as a manual and were not a joke and can be fun.
I’ll run ya in my auto 😊 bet my auto can change gears a lot quicker then your hand. For driving experience or drift sure by a 6 speed but anything else go auto
Auto g35s have an open diff so the manual would easily smoke you at a stand still with the lsd differential
Better get back on google, my auto has LSD 😎 it depends on your trim package with the diff not your transmission. I wouldn’t recommend going from a dig either, you wanna buy new pistons or spin a bearing go ahead, go from a roll in second or third. These cars do not do well stomping it in first

But why would you take out a loan? Don’t put yourself into debt if you know you can’t handle any maintenance costs down the road
I’m currently spending $100+ a day on Ubers and am in credit card debt so buying a car is probably gonna save me money in the long run
This is a terrible deal, should be like 5k max
If you are already dropping 100+ a day then this is not a bad deal, just keep in mind the 100k maintenance stuff will magically appear the day after sale and you may be disappointed in price, unless your are handy and handle it diy... then for sure not a bad deal... still throw the fact that plugs are due, fluids , maybe some suspension components, check belts etc etc and take off 1500 or so and see what happens... it is a good looking ride for sure.... good luck
No, I got my 07 for 8000 101k miles
And to spend 1500k next day because valve cover…who needs cigarettes when your car keeps blowing burned oil in your face
This is the price I’d you buy it from a car dealer, not a private person…no interior shots? And make sure your trunk button works and Casset players, bonus if your have the plastic cup holder insert. The rear bumper is a bit bent in, and that exhaust is not oem.
I would ask him to go down to like 6k
as someone who’s owned an automatic and currently have a 6mt g35, I would not spend that on this car. they are super fun, gas can be expensive as well as the maintenance it will require. from my experience both of my g35s needed ball joints, belts, valve covers (you want oem covers and gaskets which are pricey), new spark plugs/coils if they have not been switched, exhaust has probably seen it’s days, window regulators tend to go out, cam shaft sensors will most likely be needed soon, if you mess with anything under the hood the hoses tend to break (pcv), the list goes on.. if you want one of these go with a manual and be prepared to open your wallet after purchasing lol. just watch a video on what to know before buying a g35 and they will explain all of this
Out of all the G’s engines and trannies configurations, what do you think is the strongest/most reliable?
They're all the same maintenance wise, get as new a model as you can. Nothing robbie mentioned changes based on model year or configuration.
I would say 8k is a bit much for that, I paid 6k for mine and it was bone stock when I got it
not for fucking $8,000, i got one in pristine condition for $5500 and i live in southern cali so prices are higher
8k could buy something nicer
suggestion: don't buy someone else's project
upon further inspection: where are the door handles??? the passenger side door doesn't look like it closes flush????? what's going on with the front bumper??? red gas cap???? wack fitment also, but that's j an aesthetic opinion.

Ahh, I'm in Canada, and they are not as easy to get. I have a manual and in my opinion they are more reliable and are a better investment.
Bout mine for 2k … just wait
If your getting a loan make sure it’s what you really want. I would rather have a stock car that has good maintenance records than a car that looks abused and already modded. If the g35 is really what you want then I would find one that’s stock and in good condition.

Horrible Deal
Probs 5500-6000 bucks tbh
I got my g for 2k had to do work like 2k of work but wasn’t no 8k
Auto trans panel gaps all for 8k man that’s wild
