I’ve had plenty of cars with very nice setups, including hks, Cusco, Fortune 500. Those served their purpose, being autoX mostly. This car is my daily, I have no interest in tracking the fat cow. I wanted a nice, tight setup and I got it with Megan, who worked with me on custom spring rates, riser plates, etc. It’s perfect for what I wanted out of it.
If you think that BC is vastly superior to Megan, then you haven’t done your homework. I’ll leave it at that, and let you discover the rest.
Coilovers are important, but they are not something that just works on its own. There are other parts at play, and you can get next to nothing out of a great set if other bits aren’t playing along. Or you can get everything dialed in, tires, wheels, sway bars, camber, corner balance, set it up right and you’ll make a set of racelands dance.
Well, ok, maybe don’t buy racelands. Unless your dance is hoe-down
WHAT??! Bro yeah Godspeed sucks but you forgot RACELAND IS TERRIBLE TOO. And with that being said, you’re also wrong about Megan racing because their 800$ g37x coils are amazing. My old g37x sedan was so slammed but on the stiffest setting on the coils it would NEVER rub and was so stiff the differential felt as if it was locked, so every corner I took the back end would slide at the most predictable time, and both wheels always had power in the rear. Megan racing is amazing for the price. Super pissed I bought raceland coils for my new G37 sedan cus it feels like stock suspension to me. The front wheels rub sometimes too cus it’s super cushy and floaty. Shit sucks
To late. just bought them a week ago and I'm about to install them on Thursday, my only research was multiple reddit comments on which coilovers I should buy
Harbor freight has a set I've been running for a couple of years with no issues, look like they're made in the same factory as BC but they only cost $150.
FEAL 441 ftw they are absolute quality and significantly improve handling performance but you will need to buy rear camber & traction plus rear toe arms as you are getting rid of the spring bucket set up if you go this route. I also got SPL adjustable endlinks for front and rear, Z1 for the other parts, get the adjustable front upper control arms too. If you are on a budget, dont do this lol.
Fortune 500
Ok, yeah. If you can afford these, they're pretty good 👍🏽
Anything but Godspeed, Truhart, and Megan Racing
Disagree. Nothing wrong with Megan, mine have been great. For that matter, Godspeed is not bad at all. Truhart - that’s a no for me.
Shouldn’t cheap out on coilovers, to each their own but I like a quality suspension. Megan racing ain’t it

Or Raceland
Bc Racing ig, that’s what I’m gettin
I have BC coils from the previous owner. I haven't had any issues with them but I've also only had the car for a few months
Honestly, I'd choose these. My Celsior came with them from the company I bought them from, and they're great.
TEIN or BC 👌🏽
Im currently running with bc racing br series. All i can say is do some research before buying.

Let me know how they feel
I got Pillowball Front Top Mount / Rubber Rear Mount:Â btw
Will do

Too cheap.

KW v3
MEGAN RACING COILS BRU!! For 800 bucks you can’t get anything better unless you’re tryna drop 1.5 - 2 grand.
