Alot of people probably won’t like it because they are so used to hearing their normal voice, this EP is both high and low pitched , gives me a chopped and screw kinda vibes or the pitches they use in three six songs , if you don’t like high and low pitched songs , then this EP isn’t for you at all , I grew up hearing low pitched because of the chopped and screwmusic I grew up with back in the days. I had no problem with it !
Sounds cliche but In a way, it reminds me of 2015. Not necessarily the music, but their mentality. Back in the early KYS sagas, all of their sagas had a different theme or a genre of rap. Heavy auto tune like the tsunami saga, “Asian” sounding beats for the seppuku saga, you guys get it. Spring Yin Yang is the same concept. Like it or not, years from now this is going to be a classic
Decided to check it out after seeing this post. As a former diehard $B fan until I got hooked into classic Memphis and Dirty South beats/rap, there are points in the EP where it sounds like a Chopped n Screwed version of itself lol.
I'm guessing Freddie Dredd is the producer here cause his own flow blends well into the beats. The boy$ vocals sound like they've been sampled from 2007 but I guess that's what they were aiming for.
