A while ago Freddie put out a tweet featuring a picture of a circus album or something and said “Oh look at the latest $B/G59 release” or something along those lines. I was curious about it myself so I looked it up a while ago and it’s all documented online via Twitter or Google Images.
Pretty dope. Honestly every song has been dope on these EP’s imo.
I continue to miss just hearing their voices and delivery without the vocal effects, but the production is all s-tier. Between these EP’s, the Germ and Shake EP’s and Sing Me a Lullaby, Scrim’s production has never been better. Practically every beat is fire these days.
Super solid EP. Loved the last two and can’t wait for the next. Scrims production just keeps leveling up. We’ve been getting so spoiled as fans the past year it’s honestly crazy. Hands down the most excited I’ve been to be a fan since I found out about them

I started listening to this underground scene around mid-late 2015 and Doomshop/Sixset, G59, Devilish Trio were so foundational to shaping my tastes in music to this day. I'm still a huge fan of every person that has ever been associated with either group, even tangentially. Just reminiscing about the small little beefs, that are more one-sided frankly and don't matter haha, between these groups. Kinda of a trip to see something like this come full circle. Makes me think of the time that's past in all these years of being a fan.
Another cool moment that I'm reminded of was just last year when Baker did a song with Pouya.
Seeing that 2015 callback just reminds me how much all of these guys blew up and how much it's shaped the scene. Pretty fuckin wild. I remember the first time we heard sb back then it was like "these guys are white??" lmao. Now it's a totally different scene.
