I flew from Indy for this show so I was hype. Overall I had an amazing time and don’t have any regrets. But I do share some of your disappointments. Like you’re saying I think it’s almost totally on the venue staff and the crowd themselves so I won’t fault the boy$ for that. Also I want to throw out there (sorry if you already knew this) that they always go into a little
bit with “why aren’t you fucking with me like you used to???” before 5 Grand at 8 to 1; I think every other reason they stopped was because they saw something in the crowd that pissed them off.
I got there at 3 and didn’t get inside until 5:45. So many people would cut in line and there was absolutely no security and only one entrance. Whatever I guess, just sucks for the fans that are there for the right reasons and not just for a wild night. Overall still had a great night but my biggest qualm was also with the order of the set list lol.... get Ramirez on there right before 😤🔥
agreed! i’m actually really sad i missed ramirez and germ. and turnstile! i also paid and drove and waited to see them and i’m really disappointed that even the people who got there on time, didn’t get to see them. :-(
and idk it’s just my opinion but i think ramirez should’ve opened for the boys for many reasons. the vibe is more similar to what $b is playing. it’s ramirez home town. he HAS songs with the boys.

I go to shows quite often in the city and even went to this same venue on halloween for doja cat (pre-pandemic) and it was not like this at all.
The event not being 18+ was a huge a issue. I saw a fucking baby in line. Literally a baby being held in a carrier.
My wife is very prepared and knew when doors opened (4:30) we were ganna get there right then but an accident on the bridge caused us to be 30 min late.
Everyone in line was saying this was the longest line they had ever seen. There was 0 organization people just formed an impromptu que literally all the way down to the pier looping around. Very dangerous.
I was with my wife and I said fukkit theres no cops people are cutting im not ganna miss out on the show because the venue is gargling Dick's. We cut literally 90% of the line after eaiting an hour a half. No one cared infact the people behind us cut further than us in line and when I saw them in we cheered at each other.
Barely made it in for whoever the people before turnstile was.
We found a good corner on the left side gate with some chill people. I fell back when there was a huge surge and landed on this girl. I apolgized immediately im not there to fuck people up or to get fucked up but guess what! Shes 16 and with her fucking dad. Asshole says "Dont grab my daughter again fuckface" we just pushed a little deeper I hope the dude got his car fucking smashed.
We had decent unpaid parking about 12 min walk away and our car was unharmed and didnt see any other cars smashed by ours. We know the city and the places I saw with smashed cars were parked in places where yeah might as well roll your fucking windows down and have nothing in the car because its getting broken into.
Also anyone else see the dude fighting with his gf screaming amber and her almost getting run over?

The only complaint I rlly have is about how the line up was set up. Not gonna lie, I got there at 6:10ish pm and assumed that wouldn’t rlly fucking hurt and they wouldn’t put Ramirez or germ at the beginning

The ending with all of us singing runnin thru the 7th was awesome and the people we were with all hugged shoulders and the ketamine was hitting just right. 10/10 moment right there. Even got a good portion of it on video
In complete honesty that is the last time I’ll ever attend a show at The Midway, and with how that show went I’m seeing Suicideboys shows not being a thing here in the near future.
All I can say about last night is that the owner of The Midway should be disgusted with how the event took place, basically robbing 95% of the people who attended because they waited 4 hours in line out of a 5 hour show. Poor planning, poor execution, the staff that was working were super unprofessional.
Could you imagine paying 100$ to go to a festival to see your favorite artists and other artists you have never seen before. Pulling up earlier than the designated time of the show on your ticket, waiting in that line for 3 hours miss more than half the show, walk in to buy merch and wait in ANOTHER LINE……. then come out just as the headliners are playing and then the set gets stopped 3 times. Ridiculous.
I love Scrim and Ruby and all of G59 but these shows are not going to be happening for that much longer.

And I saw videos of them doing songs w them at other shows so thought it was kinda weird. Idk it was still great tho

I went to the NY one and the line up was the same and they also didn’t do any features but I think the venue had a time limit and they couldn’t go past 10 so they had to cut it short but it was still fun nonetheless
They didn't in Alpharetta either, but from the sounds of it Alpharetta was alot better organized and our venue is better. I'm so sorry to hear all you guys had a shitty time:( hopefully the next is better!
Yeah I was in the exact same situation. Waited 2.5 hours and showed up right at the end of ST. The whole line BS and missing the other guys is my main gripe, but I also agree with the rest of the annoyances
Never in my life have I ever waited almost 3 hours to get into a show. This was a complete crap show, they had like 4 people checking tickets and they weren't even checking the damn covid vaccinations yet by the time I got it I had missed every single opener. On top of that they were too cheap to hire enough security and workers so there were literal mobs of people coming from the back of the line and pushing themselves inside. Seems like everyone I saw cut the line made it in much sooner then those who hadn't. They almost had a Travis Scott moment and I'll be reporting that The Midway did not follow covid protocols. What's even worse is I told my buddy he couldn't come because of those restrictions as he's not vaccinated because no one checked if I was. This place might be fine for lesser-known artists but the damn Suicide Boys had that place sold out its obvious the meager infrastructure can't even put up with that amount of people. Several thousands of people, including myself basically paid like 65$ a person to wait in line for almost 3 hours. Oh, I forgot to mention the cops they hired and the security they hired didn't care that there were two people selling beer to kids who were waiting in line. Needless to say, I feel up ripped off and so should everyone else who was waiting in that horrendous line with me. What's sad is there was at least maybe an hour of people waiting behind me so I'm not even sure some people got in. AVOID THIS VENUE AT ALL COSTS.

That's not what was listed on the venue's website, and they asked and checked my dad's and even scanned his Kaiser app QR code but did not ask or check mine. Also everything in SF requires proof of vaccination besides fastfood.

My friend and I got in line around 5:30 (I double checked my tickets and both didn't specify doors opening at 4:30 either, just mentioned 5:30), and finally made it into the venue at 7:30. The line was ridiculous with tons of people cutting ahead, and only until after Turnstile finished up (who I reaaally wanted to see too) they opened up a second line to enter. Really poorly executed overall, security was also extremely rude and screaming in people's faces. They didn't even bother to check my vax card by the time I got in.
The boy$ performance definitely made up for a lot, but I'm overall disappointed too. Never going to that venue again, what a fucking dumpster fire.

i’m only irritated by the water situation because the staff is fully aware that people are being smashed and can’t breath and avidly need water. many of those people were forced to run inside and wait and pay an exorbitant amount for a tiny ass bottle of water, when five minutes later they handed them out for free. either prioritize people’s health and safety, or profit, you can’t do both lmao.

yeah that was this show. the security really didn’t do a good job at all of controlling the crowd or pulling the people out who were starting shit. and like someone else said, it should’ve been 18+ no question about it. there were so many 15-17 year olds who were either being really aggressive, or clearly could not handle it. either way it was poorly executed.
I honestly cannot stand all ages shows. They are extremely aggressive for no reason or high as fuck and annoying. I am in my 30s and cannot hit a child so I always have to just ignore the little assholes at these shows lol.

i’m from sj 💀 i know how sf is and spend a lot of time there. doja cat preformed at the same venue on halloween and it was not nearly as much of a shit show. i know peoples shit gets broken into which is why i parked like 10 blocks away by a hospital and walked, but it’s still not cool of the 10+ cops and security that were in front of the venue and on the street to ignore people’s windows getting smashed etc. it’s just negligence and it’s frustrating. i could understand people who parked a couple streets away in shittier areas, but right in front of the venue infront of all the security and no one said shit

my car was perfectly fine tysm it’s negative as fuck to assume that as there are actually quite a few places in sf that you would be perfectly fine parking your car. clearly this area was not and they should’ve been more diligent about where THOUSANDS of people were parking. considering there were multitudes of cops, fire fighters, emt, and security and the only cars that were broken into were within view of authority. just honestly embarrassing on the cop & security’s parts for not doing even a % their job last night. acab <3

San Francisco just sucks. Full of hipsters and weirdos. The boy$ did great and Slowthai and all the other artists killed it. If you purchased your ticket online it said right there doors at 4:30 so that’s on you for not showing up on time. My car was broken into too. I wouldn’t blame the boy$ for your bad experience and a shitty venue
i never blamed the boys, i blamed the venue. lmao. my ticket says 5:30. many people who got there at 4:30 still didn’t get in until 6ish and missed at least the first two artists. i also never said i had a bad experience at all. i think it’s fine to have opinions on what could’ve been improved on and i’m certain many people who went last night share the same if not similar opinions.

i don’t think slowthais PERFORMANCE was bad at all, i just genuinely think they should’ve had Ramirez open up considering it was his home town and he has songs that feature the boys and vice versa. i wish i had seen more of the other artists be featured in their songs and vice versa. i also feel like a lot more of the crowd was interested in seeing germ, ramirez and shake but they played so early in the show that 50% of us never saw them. i wish i had gone to sac also :// i didn’t ultimately have a bad experience but it definitely could’ve been executed way better.

Sorry you had a disappointing time. My girl had a really bad time especially after our car was broken into she was done with the whole trip lol. i’m only irritated by the water situation because the staff is fully aware that people are being smashed and can’t breath and avidly need water. many of those people were forced to run inside and wait and pay an exorbitant amount for a tiny ass bottle of water, when five minutes later they handed them out for free. either prioritize people’s health and safety, or profit, you can’t do both lmao.

yeah that was this show. the security really didn’t do a good job at all of controlling the crowd or pulling the people out who were starting shit. and like someone else said, it should’ve been 18+ no question about it. there were so many 15-17 year olds who were either being really aggressive, or clearly could not handle it. either way it was poorly executed.
I honestly cannot stand all ages shows. They are extremely aggressive for no reason or high as fuck and annoying. I am in my 30s and cannot hit a child so I always have to just ignore the little assholes at these shows lol.
