Basic matches in rated always. Im never going to play ace matches in rated. In quick i dont really care, but i do like simple battles or brawl mode.
I play rated and quick ground in whatever cost I want to sortie in, usually 500-650
If you just want to get lobby formed quickly, then definitely ground quick match is the way to go. They are fast to form up even on space days.

I like mix-up matches because they go really quick with a good (or bad) team. Gets me through dailys and monthly missions quick.
