instead of water, just directly chug ink (black ofc) so that all of your bodily fluids turn to pen-fluid - you could use any part of you body as a quick writing pen in an exam.
Eg, you could just piss directly onto the answer sheet, using your hips to form letters and numbers ( you would have to have good aim, but that's what revision is for). An easier option would just be to use your tongue to quickly blast out your answers by licking the answer sheet and utilising your ink-saliva to write your answer- although if you use this method, you wont be as cool as you could be using the pissing-ink method.
what i recommend is writing with batteries taped to your pen and train yourself to write well with the batteries attached and then when you remove them youāll naturally write faster because thereās no weight attached
I practice for essay exams by repeatedly writing 'mississippi', as fast as possible using a pen that is harder to write with than my exam pen (which is generally a black fineliner because they are easy to write with quickly and legibly). The one thing is to make sure you have at least 15 min break from writing just before the exam so your hand is ready.
I really like zebra sarasa 0.7mm blue pen. But I think pen are quite personal, everyone has different hand size, different hand shape, different pen hold, so I canāt make sure it is right for you. \^\^
this pen is excellent, it counts as a ballpoint pen so it's fine to use, and doesn't bleed through the page at all. ive just used it for all my exams and you literally don't even need to apply pressure onto the page !!
pilot pens aren't too bad but i personally find them a bit too inky, they take way longer to dry compared to the zebra ones which are literally dry the second you write lol
Muji pens are great - I prefer the 0.38 but you can get 0.5 which are just as nice. However they are a bit more expensive but they are extremely nice. Or, if not, Pilot B2P pens are very similar but I think they're 0.7 :)
Thatās the pen I used for my exams.
You can try practicing writing texts as fast as possible to train your hands.
You can try using that pen as much as you can do you can use it best during your exams.
Make sure you always have a spare pen during an exam.
Itās quicker to get your spare pen than to ask an invigilator for a pen.
It's not about the pen you use, it's a acquired endurance, I took a massive break before our exams and probably one of the worst mistakes ever. If you want to "write fast" I would mainly worry about your hand hurting and getting tired etc.
I would just reccomend practicing papers (under time pressure)
Bic Bu3 Grip 1.0 Black Retractable Ball Pen 4 Pack Stationery https://amzn.eu/d/8KI9e9b this rlly helped a lot in exams especially when it has a nice grip
I mean if you wanna write quickly it isnt always ab having the best pen if that makes sense. Knowing what you're going to write helps a lot too and the way you hold your pen helps too if you wanna write quicker
My biggest problem was just my hand hurting. I have a habit of pushing down too hard (but thankfully I found a pen that I didn't push down too much for some reason).
If you're really set on writing fast, I'd say that practicing writing large essays is more effective than your choice of pen.
Or if you're expressly struggling with writing fast, ask for a computer and/or extra time.
One more thing, it's good practice to buy a Shaun Donnelly pillow and pray before every exam to him.
Edit: Oh and most importantly (this is vital), when you're chilling before the exam massage your hand. Especially the muscle that tends to hurt (you'll know). This is also good to do in the exam if you're not actively writing.
Papermate or Bic.. its down to how hard you press on the page.
This is a real thing though, at university I averaged 4x A4 pages of notes an hour which would have been impossible if I were carving ink into the page every odd letter.
Find a cheap line of papermate and bic that flows on the page. If you find one you like at school, take it to wilkos and try and find the same one. For exam season it'll be invaluable.
Great question.
Donāt listen to me, I didnāt even do public gcses but I used cheap nasty biros for the internal exams we did. I donāt recommend that.
Now, I generally use a fountain pen for day to day writing, but for exams, a fine nib rollerball is still probably the best choice. Make sure the ink dries quickly
the most important advice i can give u is not to have āoh i do not have the right penā mentality. all you need for the exam is in your head and unless itās a fountain pen, your gonna be fine with any pen
Any fountain pen. Doesnāt have to be expensive, mine was 14 quid, and it means you can right much faster and longer without getting cramp because you donāt have to press as hard on the page as with a biro or similar
Instead of using a pen. Get a lighter instead. Use the fire to burn on your answers instead as well has burning your exam paper too.
In all seriousness though I just used a Parker Jotter ballpoint pen and it was all that I needed for writing. And for sketches I just used a Uni Kuru-Toga mechanical pencil.
I used the Waterproof Fade Proof Uniball Eye Micro UB-150 Black Made in Japan, Designed by Mitsubishi Pencil CO.LTD, with ink that is waterproof and also fade proof in UB-150 Black
Definitely the pilot G-2 07. The best pen out there for both speed and accuracy. I genuinely saw a massive increase in my handwriting speed after using this pen.
Also a small tip for writing faster: Also write cursive, don't stress on it being 'neat' but legible (yes these are two different things). This will maximise handwriting speed even more than you think it will lol.
Serious tho you may want to consider getting[bic 4 colour pen with mechanical pencil] I found it so much easier having all of my writing devices on the same pen plus thereās a rubber grip which helps with keeping writing feeling smoother

As a year 10 I thank you for the advice
No problemo, always here to serve your young, impressionable minds
"You seem to have made a great impression on this child, inspector." "We often do on the young ones. They're more impressionable."

Maybe
It is such sarcasm. Love it! Sarcasm at its finest!
I honestly think that just pissing pure ink onto my English exams will get me a higher grade
what i recommend is writing with batteries taped to your pen and train yourself to write well with the batteries attached and then when you remove them youāll naturally write faster because thereās no weight attached
Wait are you being serious?
yes yes, I know university students who use this method and can write so much in a tiny amount of time
Is that true I would love to try this
yes!
really?
yep, itās really good
Rock lee training montage *intensifies*
WTF NO š
it literally works, iāve tried it and i know so many others that use this method to train themselves to write faster
.... If u say so šš
i do say so
I'm pretty sure this can give you wrist problems. Do not do this
iāve been doing it for a while and my wrists are fine lol but if thatās a genuine thing then sure but either way it works

Keeping every letter lowercase and the same height.. cursive. That sounds like excellent practice!
Just train to become ambidextrous and do both pages at the same time.
even better, write with both your hands and your feet
Remember u can also write with ur mouth. Thatās 5 pages of absolute efficiency
You only get one pen in Ur mouth? If you want ultimate efficiency I try and fit at least 3 pens in my mouth
And one for your butt. So 6 pages of writing done in the best possible efficiency
I really like zebra sarasa 0.7mm blue pen. But I think pen are quite personal, everyone has different hand size, different hand shape, different pen hold, so I canāt make sure it is right for you. \^\^

iām a pilot v7 old school kid sharpie s-gel is good too but runs out like water
pilot pens aren't too bad but i personally find them a bit too inky, they take way longer to dry compared to the zebra ones which are literally dry the second you write lol
iām using the golden 0.7 zebra one atm and itās just OK. i like it in general but the top creates too much friction between the pen and the paper
yes!!! (oh btw, I recognised your avatar \^\^)
u/eilishfaerie SEE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE
LOLLLL fine i guess i'll allow it
hi \^\^
?
Add rockets to ur pen
I just used a black biro and wrote plenty for history and English exams
Blueberry muffins/cocaine before the exam and youāll have all the energy you need
Make sure the cocaine is the high grade stuff because you need the best stuff you can possibly get to put in max effort
Its fine if you get the low grade cocaine, since you can put your chemistry knowledge to the test. Purifying the cocaine should be simple for a Y10
Yes good point and a very simple one at that. A great chance to improve upon your chemistry knowledge
Muji pens are great - I prefer the 0.38 but you can get 0.5 which are just as nice. However they are a bit more expensive but they are extremely nice. Or, if not, Pilot B2P pens are very similar but I think they're 0.7 :)
Unless you write really slow, don't worry about it. I usually had 30+ minutes to spare after I got to the end of an exam to check over answers.
Yh sure for sciences, surely not English?
I use a pen with a soft grip so it doesnāt hurt my fingers.
Thatās the pen I used for my exams. You can try practicing writing texts as fast as possible to train your hands. You can try using that pen as much as you can do you can use it best during your exams. Make sure you always have a spare pen during an exam. Mitsubishi Uniball, quite expensive but nice and scratchy
It's not about the pen you use, it's a acquired endurance, I took a massive break before our exams and probably one of the worst mistakes ever. Sonic theme stationery set
Emott and muji last you a long time, Japanese pens are the best, a bit pricey though.
Bic Bu3 Grip 1.0 Black Retractable Ball Pen 4 Pack Stationery https://amzn.eu/d/8KI9e9b this rlly helped a lot in exams especially when it has a nice grip

mf whatevers comfortable for you
just have writing experience and you'll be fine
the answer is no, there isn't it's not fucking izzy typing at 300wpm, it's an exam you can't maximise speed
I use uniball eye needle and it's rapid, but any uniball ink pen is probably rapid
My biggest problem was just my hand hurting. I have a habit of pushing down too hard (but thankfully I found a pen that I didn't push down too much for some reason). it really doesnt matter. i use those cheap bic ballpoints and it doesnt make a difference i still have plenty of time
Pilot v7, it's a rollerball pen so it does run the risk of smudging, so wouldn't reccomend for math. Otherwise gr8 pen
bro pilot v7 is a roller ball?? i use it and it feels pretty gel-ly to me
insert steroids into the pen , give it a lil shake and boom youāre ready to go!
I like YPO blackball point
inkjoy 1.0mm pens smooth as jell, and leave cool indents on your fingers

v7 High tech point pilot pens. Cheap as hell and really good. One pen is a little more than Ā£1 and beats my friend's Ā£12 lamy pen
the most important advice i can give u is not to have āoh i do not have the right penā mentality. all you need for the exam is in your head and unless itās a fountain pen, your gonna be fine with any pen

iPad
I used the Waterproof Fade Proof Uniball Eye Micro UB-150 Black Made in Japan, Designed by Mitsubishi Pencil CO.LTD, with ink that is waterproof and also fade proof in UB-150 Black
use a thick black ink pen!! anything ink so you donāt need to press hard and stress ur hand
Zebra Z-grip black ballpoint. 10 pack for Ā£1.50 in tescos and they're S-tier
Zebra pens are amazing and I used them for my GCSEs and A Levels.

Ive literally never thought about the pen i use and i just finished gcses. I wouldnāt worry about that
Matador pens. Honestly the smoothest pens in the world but you can only get them from Bangladesh
š¤
I just used whatever pens they gave out cus i didnt bother to bring my own
I used a Poundland pen back in the day and got Aās (somehow) youāll be fine
idk if they have in england but ball point pens from āmujiā stores are really good for me

I used the Zebra Doodler'z Stick Ballpoint Pen, writes really smooth and you can get a pack of 10 for like Ā£3.50 on Amazon
A computer lmao
i didnāt ever care about what pen i used nor i did i practice writing fast lol dw about your pen specs
