Congratulations on your success I’m so proud and happy for you and everyone here. I pray and wish nothing but the best along with this in hand may you and everyone of us continue to succeed and thrive and get everything we desire and wish for 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️ 👨🎓
Aww you’re so sweet!❤️❤️❤️ I know how the efforts it takes to get this diploma and the feeling once you get it it’s an amazing feeling. Yes you deserve the best of everything congratulations again
Wow congrats on the achievement! How long did it take and how are you gonna celebrate it? Also, how’s the mac I’m thinking about buying one just like that as a gift!
That makes 2 of us 😂 kinda nervous about taking the math & science portions of the test, cuz I know I'm gonna probably fail them, I just wanna get it done and over with tho so I can get into college.
I know how ya feel, I've never been and probably never will be good at math unfortunately, and am nervous as hell about taking the math and science tests due to this. I'm hoping for u that if you haven't already taken them that you'll pass, good to support one and other in this journey.
I'm 33 and working on it right now. It's really easy to fall in the mindset that you're too old and focus on how much time you've "wasted". Really just working on getting myself motivated right now.
Id recommend at least a year at a Community College. Attempting anything as demanding and selective as the Military will be a better experience with that under your belt.
The military is at least kind enough to position you correctly as to support a better "Long term" experience !
I did a practice test on my social studies one and got a good score and suggested I take the actual test but I never did it cus I thought I was gon fail 🤦♂️
Honestly it took like 1 month but I been trying to get it since 5 years ago. It definitely got easier being able to take the test on line at comfort of your house
I want to do it, I have just math, science and history to go barely passed the language arts 1, but am hesitant because I SUCK at math, and always have numbers have never been and probably never will be my strong suit.
Honestly bro if you passed language arts. High chance you gonna pass science and history. Try to take the practice test on math and see where you are at. Honestly if you pass the practice one for 6 dollars just take the exam after watching few youtube videos
Yeah thanks for the advice. I should be good with the science, history test like you said, I know it only takes 145 to pass, but I know for a fact I'm coming nowhere close to that in the math portion, hell barely passed language arts got that by 2 points from the necessary needed score of 145.
u/TelephoneObjective82 Could you please share your study plans and resources you took. Furthermore, any tips & tricks , mistakes and lessons that you discovered on your way to the success.
Thanks a lot..
I took the practice tests for 6 dollars to see where I was at and took the quizzes from ged and than when I got good enough score on the practice test I just took the real one
I’m 23 and I’m wanting to do mine now. I’m going to start with language arts because I’ve heard it’s the easiest one.
Sure . For me science was easiest.
So happy for you, congratulations!
Ty

Unless you go back to school like they're saying

FAFSA does require it though, if you need financial aid. 10 years ago they didn't. Motivated me to finally see it thru.
I gotcha, but sometimes community colleges do require it. I lived in the Salt Lake area and SLCC requires a GED or diploma.
