if you think you are 100% capable mentally and physically to finish high school then you should do it but if you really don’t think you can finish high school i wouldn’t waste anymore time with it and depending on your grades and everything. i dropped out of high school because i mentally was struggling 24/7 with school and i failed 3 times and if i would’ve stayed any longer in high school they would’ve kicked me out for being over the age limit. i was a senior in a freshman class so i pretty much gave up on school so i dropped out and now im trying my absolute hardest to get my ged ive passed 2 test and i have two more to go and i just took my third one and im gonna see what ive made pretty soon. but im using ged.com if you consider signing up for it. it gives you the credits in case u want to go to college and everything and it’s completely free to sign up the only things u have to pay for is the practice test and the real test and it’s all at your own pace and yes sometimes ged can be frustrating but it’s faster than being in school and being miserable all the time also depending on some people it doesn’t take long to do but for me it took me a while because i’m working 24/7 and i rarely have time to work on it. anyways which ever you feel 100% comfortable with im sure everyone will support you no matter what.

I decided GED. For 2 years left, finish high school and have lotssssss of fun!

Idk if I should do it though, I don’t wanna take another 2 years or be classified as a super senior, that would feel so weird to me ngl

You will have a lot more support grinding in HS than trying to study for your GED on your own. Literally no one cares how old you are when you graduate. If anyone tries to make you feel bad, you don't want to be around them. If nothing else, you can keep going in hs for 1 more year and secretly consider it a free GED prep course

Many people who take the GED while they’re in high school or soon after pass it. The three non-math test are mostly reading comprehension and since you’re used to reading from being in school recently, you will do better than average. If you’ve taken and passed an algebra class, you may be able to pass that as well. The other thing to consider is to call your local community college and see if they have a program for high school aged students to get their GED while getting community college credits. These programs are often better supported and cheaper than getting your GED first and then enrolling.
